Dragic is obviously our future. I meant I'd give up anyone else for Josh Smith.

I really dont Think Josh Smith is the answer. Another tweener, isnt that one of our problems now. Too star struck, head case. Not dominant as a Pf., just a flashey athlete.

Find a way to get Hilton Armstrong, and put another big athletic big body next to Robin on defense, if he snaps out of it we have a very good starting 4/5. Nash/Dragic and the system, would make Hilton look like a friggin star.

:rofl2:

If you think Nash/Dragic and the system can turn a career 3.4ppg/2.6rpg/0.5bpg tweener forward into a "friggin star," imagine what they could do with a 14.3ppg/7.6rpg/2.4bpg PF who's coming off a career year (15.7ppg/8.7rpg/2.1bpg).

Neither players are dominant offensive bigs, but trust me, Smith is more than just a flashy athlete. THe guy made 2nd team ALL-DEFENSE last season and he would make a great PnR partner for Nash. lol what has Hilton Armstrong done in his 6 seasons in the NBA?

Ok... ok, midn you, I had a WHOLE LOT!!! of brandy flowing through my body when I came up with this stuff last night. But even though I was a little out of it, my main goal and idea was to find a simple solution to our problem (rebounding, interior defense, hustle), with possible little tweeks, rather than giving up our best scorer to this point, and biggest expiring. We would have to give up Rich and someone else we like, changing entire way we play, while adding someone we have to find out how to use on the fly (disruption). Josh makes a boat load of money too.... long term money for what he brings to the table. Just trying to figure a way around that. Plus two things, will he put us over the top, while giving up Rich, and is it really a realistic view thinking we have even a shot at getting him. Im thinking neither.

I wouldn't give up Dragic, Nash, Dudley, Lopez for him.

Everyone realizes that all of the "omgz nash is gonna be traded" is just espn and nba saying "MAYBE nash SHOULD be traded?"...right? I mean, I think you guys know that, but I'm not sure.

Always the most rational.
