Not even overreacting....we should trade Amare

Post#1 » by Future Soldier » Sat Nov 13, 2010 3:45 am

We've been victims of bad contracts for a decade now. Can we not see what's going to happen at this point? You would think after 10 years of horrible contracts, we would be clairvoyant enough to know that Amare is going to go down as one of the worst signings in team history.

I say we take the initiative and trade him for a ton of 1st round picks before we wind up with another Eddy Curry/Allan Houston/Jerome James/Jamal Crawford/Zach Randolph/Jared Jefferies etc etc situation. Again, I'm not even overreacting. Amare is NOT a leader. He's dumb as a bag of dog shyt covered in hot sauce. He doesn't make others better. He can't play defense. It's better to get what we can for him now and cut our losses than watch him on the bench in street clothes in 2012 while we're paying him $20,000,000 to do nothing.

flame me if you want. I'm just trying to be proactive here. Get rid of this idiot.

The only reason players like Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are interested in playing in New York is because the Knicks have Amar'e Stoudemire.

to the rockets.

i don't want to sound like I'm spamming, but if we're going to do that, might as well try and get the right(s) to the pick(s) back.

The Rox have no interest in paying Amare 100 million dollars over 5 years.

do you think they want to even play here when they see how dumb he is? The man is a walking turnover. Imagine Carmelo watching this game, what could possibly be going through his head?

"Damn son...I can't WAIT to play with a niqqa who loves to barrel into 4 defenders and jack up horrible shots when his teammates are open! That could be ME getting ignored on offense! SIGN ME UP NOW!"

STAT is a good player but he is not a player that is gonna make this team better. He' a finisher. He's probely the best at that. But he's not going to make anyone better. I said before Free Agency that if we did not get James we should stay away from the big names and go and build around our young players. I bumped that thread A few days ago but it got locked because I was "gloating". SMH
