i don't want to sound like I'm spamming, but if we're going to do that, might as well try and get the right(s) to the pick(s) back.

The Rox have no interest in paying Amare 100 million dollars over 5 years.

you should know considering you work for the rocket front office.

Don't be so sure I don't

the rockets suck too. they have injury prone yao (who is a cash cow, so they will most likely re-sign him) and they have injury prone martin, who makes a ton of money too. they're not going anywhere fast, but i think they'll be able to salvage enough of the season around dec 15  and may even be able to threaten for the championship if they add stat to that team.

just putting it out there.............. 8-)

If there was a way to speak off the record between posters, I would tell you exactly why the Rox aren't interested.

Especially after we just signed him. Every team would try to RAPE us like we were trying to RAPE Denver for Melo...

im sure there is market for him somewhere

you might get minimal return, but itd be worth it

the way i look at amare:

he was the bait: we got him to try to lure lebron, that didnt work (its ok), so now to try get melo, if we cant, then cut bait and start again

Most overrated player in the NBA, he's not better than D Lee. He's a second option with bad knees and a max salary.

I think we leave that to the next guy. Personally, I think the ONLY way to go now is to totally and completely tear everything down. But there's no way Dolan allows that. Not after the past 2 seasons.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you on the latter.

as far as the former, as long as we get the right(s) to the pick(s) back, I'm good. if that means seeing fish face effries back here till next summer too, so be it.

Knicks fans are on suicide watch. Good lord I feel sad.

yeah, that's pretty much what I'd assume as well. walsh wouldn't trade stat as soon as he got the chance.

Thats the thing, we just tore everything down 5 months ago. Got rid of every cancer, minus Curry, who lets face it is inconsequential at this point. *This* was our fresh start, and all we got was a less efficient version of Al Harrington. I just dont know anymore......

Trade him where? What we need to do is find a PG that can exploid his offensive game so he can justify his contract. I don't think he would be easy to trade and pretty sure he won't be traded, so we need to be patience here.
