Josh Smith/ Mike Bibby for Lopez and (2 years of) Nash and filler?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Add in a draft pick and you have yourself a deal.

You wouldn't have to send us a pick, unless you wanted to.

Seriously, in 2 years the deal becomes Lopez/filler for Josh Smith. Any picks would go our way.

Nash retires a Sun. We have a good team man, and would rather put peices around Nash rather then trade him. (JEDI MIND TRICK, HAND WAVE), YOU WILL TAKE HEDO FOR JOSH SMITH INSTEAD!    Worth a try..... :o Did it work... Is it a dea???

The farce is strong with that one.

It seems like people are considering Nash a two-year rental - I bet he plays til 40, and even if he's only playing half a game at that point, he's a great teacher for whoever you're bringing up to take over the point

He still has huge value

My personal opinion is that unless he asks to be moved, we continue to reduce his minutes, bring Dragic along and keep Steve until he wants to become a coach. I could see him maybe leaving for the last couple of years of his career, if only to make way for Goran - by year 6 or sos, I imagine he will want to be starting. Then again, I think Nash would happily take a seat on the bench if that was where he was needed.

Under normal circumstances I'd do that deal with Atlanta but out of respect for Nash, I'd keep him unless he asks for a trade.

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.
