Pe'Shon Howard FTW!! And Jordan Williams looks ready for an all-ACC season.

Watching this Houston/ Nicholls St game.

NBA prospect watch with Antoly Bose. So far, I am not overly impressed, even though he is in double figures already.

I'm hoping Houston pulls this one out because I have them third in my conference USA preview.

Watching Butler demolish some D2 squad. This Merian team is not playing that poorly. It's just that Butler's defense is so darn tough.

Switched to the TAMCC-Northeastern St. contest. The Islanders look good because they are dominant inside. However, they must have team free throw shooting of maybe 30%. They're horrible at the line. It's just unacceptable.

Memphis looks a little shaky early against Miami. Miami usually starts off the season well, and I have them sort of high in my preseason rankings.

Good night for the Mountain West so far. San Diego State taking it to Gonzaga early. A potential huge resume win for Steve Fisher. And New Mexico takes care of Arizona State easily at home.

Kemba Walker 42 points FTW tonight. He's the best PG in the NCAA. Maybe I'm just a little biased because I'm a UConn fan, but I truthfully believe so.

This Illinois vs Texas game is pretty good. Texas is playing some mean defense right now.

Very impressive performance from Thompson. Illinois couldn't stop his turn-around jumper and blocked everything on defense.

Just the FT shooting was a liability on his part. I'm still surprised by the lack of perimeter shooting from both teams though.

UNC was solid with spreading the floor earlier today.

Did you actually watch that game?

Btw, amazing game for Chaminade in their win over Oklahoma. The Sooners are really on a downward sloap, and Cameron Clark is not going to save them this year. Cade Davis and Andrew Fitzgerald are really the only bright spots for this squad right now. (but they do have some young talent)

Steven Bennett FTW!

Watching BC-Wisconsin (Old-Spice Classic- Semis)

Notes:
-BC is clearly the lesser team
-Jon Leuer is a great player, possibly 2nd rounder. he can shoot really really well for a big man
-Reggie Jackson is BC's only legit weapon.

Manhattan has to be a surprise team in the MAAC. Tons of newcomers but they are aggressive and somewhat talented, despite being undersized.

As for your observations on BC: Jackson is certainly a weapon, and Trapani has been cold from the field in the two games that I caught him. But, BC does have three weapons in Raji, Trapani, and Jackson. If all three come to play, they may be able to outscore their opponents. The reason why BC looks so bad is because they have not adjusted to the 1-3-1 defensively. The coaching change has been a huge adjustment for these guys who have played their careers under Al Skinner.

I hope Donahue does well at BC, he did an awesome job at Cornell. Right now I'm watching Tennessee-Nova. Impressed at how Bruce Pearl still has Tenn. playing well. I think that they're more talented than Nova, though.

More talented than Nova? No. More mentally tough right now? Yes.
