i know hinrich signed a deal that pays him less every year, and he's on his last 2 years, so i'm not sure the difference from udrich (which i expect to go out in such a move or as a follow up move) is that significant.

i could be wrong, but with udrich's increading deal - i'm really not convinced it's a big difference.
too lazy to check though... :)

well, i think that a less ball dominant guard who can still hit the outside shot but also play great defense (basicaly hinrich), would be a better fit next to evans.

but admitadly - i'm not a kings fan, probably don't watch as many games as you guys (although i do watch quite a alot of them), and if you feel that two guards who prefer penetration and having the ball in their hands - works for you - i'll take your opinion over mine in this case.

fwiw, i do think evans and udrich play well together, but the question is - is it because it's an ideal combination, or is it because it's the best you have at this point and it's possible that evans and hinrich compliment each other even better ?...

Hinrich has actually been brought up here more than a time or two as a potentially perfect fit. I agree myself, he would definitely bring the type of defense we could use at PG, something that Beno can't provide on a nightly basis.

ok, new plan...

get your dwight howard package ready kings... (wiretap...).

no one can top your offer -

cousins, lotto pick, absorb lewis, west coast ?
magic won't find a better deal - period.

all you need is to sell howard on - udrich, evans, lewis, landry, howard - so he doesn't try to force his way to the lakers who will offer bynum - who's far less attractive for orlando (even if finaly healthy and durable) than this great kings' package - assuming cousins proves to have his head in the right place...

8-) 8-)
