we can talk all we want about the tech or the lucky shots, but bottom line is, we are playing lackadaisical on defense, and it HAS to improve, this game really shouldn't have been close. i can't wait for Bynum's return.

But Jay even Drew can't fix all with what's wrong with the Lakers. Our rotations suck, close outs are non existent, we're not getting into peoples bodies on shots and we're switching on screens some times for no reason.

Is Gasol allowed to camp in the paint and go over the back all night like he did in this game? If so, no, the Lakers are unbeatable in a 7 game series then.

Absolutely, but at least when Drew is there our mistakes are usually magnified less and we can get away with it because of Drew's presence being there. I'm not condoning our bad defense, but he makes things a whole lot easier.

Yeah they we're lucky all night, but we played dumd all game. You even said earlier that if we played smart we win, it's true but we failed.

Yea our defense was reeeeallly slow in rotation, yes that tech on LO sucked the drive, but man those turnovers reeeally got to me (eg: kobes turnovers were ridiculous).. It just showed me that even though PHX shot lights out tonight, i still felt we couldve won the game if we were just playing smarter.
