Knicks 'Will Make An Inquiry' About Nash

Post#1 » by Kerrsed » Mon Nov 15, 2010 1:07 am

Figured i would make this thread so we could discuss about our New York options ............ ......... ........just in case.

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70092/20101114/knicks_will_make_an_inquiry_about_nash/

The Knicks are going to check into the availability of Suns point guard Steve Nash even though trade rumors involving the two-time MVP are believed to be speculation.

The Knicks "will make an inquiry," a team source told The New York Daily News.

Phoenix is 4-4 and if they were to trade Nash it probably won't be until around the trade deadline or if they fall out of the playoff picture early.

Sounds like everyone's about to say AR and Felton for him. I would then say Only if Dragic starts. I think he's better than Felton in almost every way. AR might be perpetually hurt though

Nash/Hill/Clark for Randolph/Curry/Fields

Nash/Felton/Rautins
Douglas/Walker/Mason
Hill/Williams
Gallo/Chandler
Amare/Turriaf/Mozgov

Dragic/Janning
Jrich/Dudley/
Turk/Childress/Fields
Randolph/Warrick/Lawal
Frye/Lopez/Siler/Curry

Wonder if we could talk Dantoni in to a 6'11 C that like shooting 3's ?

I still think it's an idiotic idea.

We wouldn't get anything worth losing him.

Those deals better include a few 1st rounders as well. Terrible deals imo.

All depends on AR's physical... And if he'll make his number 15. Then he could be AR-15! The antithesis of AK-47!!!

I don't think the Knicks are allowed to trade a first rounder.

The only players i like on NY are:

Gallo- I see him as a better rebounding Channing Frye. Better shooter too. Also better defender. Hell, Frye is a poor man's Gallo.

Randolph- We all know about his potential, hell GS fans have been telling us about it for the past 4 years.

Douglas-
Hustles, Hustles, Hustles.

Fields-
Has looked ok so far from what i have seen. We were close to drafting him, but NY took him before our pick.

Turriaff-
Dude hustles. I have liked him going back to his Lakers/Warriors days. Shot blocker that can rebound, and probably the best cheerleader (on the court/ on the bench) in the league.

Chandler- I would love Chandler on our team........ if we didnt already have so damn many SF's already.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=2729rp5
Nash/Felton
Fields/Walker
Hedo/Hill
Gallo/Turriaf
Amare/Mozgov

Dragic/Douglas
Jrich/Dudley/Azabuike
Chandler/Childress/Clark
Randolph/Warrick/Lawal
Frye/Lopez/Siler/Curry

Half the players Kerssed listed are now Suns. plus no more Turk
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

This only makes sense if the Knicks go after Anthony.

I agree about them taking on Hedo. If we give up Nash, we have to take a kings ransom to do so.

 (We'd have to be out of the playoff race in December though)

How about:

Nash/Hill/Frye for Curry/AR/Felton

-Felton has 1 year left at 7mil so it gives Dragic time to assume the starting PG spot
-Curry will be waived
-NY won't take on Hedo's contract cause it jeopardizes their Melo plans but maybe they're open to taking on a slightly smaller contract like Frye's or J.Chill's.

Hedo's not going anywhere sadly enough. No way anyone takes his contract, and NY doesn't have the kind of bad contracts to give back for it... I do think he'd be solid at SF for us, but he's just not a PF in any way

There is no way that Nash will be traded to the Knicks Sarver is in love with him the Suns would have to be way below .500 for Sarver to trade him Ij ust don't see that happening !

Eww no thanks. That trade stinks.

I would ask for Chandler, Douglas and Randolph for Nash and Hill.

I wish to make an inquiry regarding which moron started this whole Nash rumor CRAP.

Is this what we're going to have to hear about all season?
