Week 11 - Viqueens Lead Up

Post#1 » by Kerb Hohl » Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:45 am

The Vikings made a deal with the devil and they are on the brink of massive fail. Let's discuss the possibility of driving them completely out of this thing and doing some LOLing in the process.

Looks like Chilly was expecting a kiss.

I'm going 24-21 Pack. Chilly fired shortly after the game.

That would be the second straight game we caused a coach to be fired. Which would be pretty cool, but I'm hoping Chilly keeps his job.

I hope we annihilate them, but that probably won't happen.

But we WILL win, and here's why:

The Packers have a .666 winning percentage when I DON'T watch them. That is pretty good.

Of the remaining .333, (that is, the losses) they have been very close games, with final deficits being 3 points, 9 points, 8 points, 6 points, and 7 points. So, very close games for the most part.

Most importantly, my effect on the Packers is SO great, these are the types of performances I have missed.

-Favre OAK game
-The following week's DEN game
-Favre throwing 300 yards and 3 score vs Baltimore and their "best defense ever"
-52-3 ass-whooping we put on the Saints in 2005
-3 games in the 1996 season

Yes, I missed those games. :blank:

Now, why is all of this important? Because I will be taking my .667 winning percentage into next weeks showdown @ Minnesota, as I will be out of town for my sister's engagement. First game I'm missing in the Rodgers-era.

Your welcome, Packer nation. The win is in the bag.

I hope he keeps his job too, but I'm afraid it's inevitable at this point.

Wilford Brimley, it sounds like Favre has good games when you miss games. :(

Hmm yes, perhaps this will work in my favor now that he is on the other side. Very interesting, indeed. :-?

This is what we need to do to Favre. I'd love to see him in the fetal position again. Go to work Clay.

This game will not be a walk in the park... I'm expecting a real close one, but hoping for an a$$ whoopin' as much as the rest of you.

I still have this pegged as one of the 3 losses (@NE, NYG) on the way to 10-6.

Close game until mid 4th when the Packers get a crucial turnover to seal the game and then go on to score the dagger.

Packers 31
Vikings 21

Sidney Rice is back but hard to say how much of a factor he will be after such a long layoff. Harvin had a pretty serious ankle injury vs. Chicago, hopefully he's still gimpy or out. This will be a close game, just because it's Packers vs. Vikings, but I'll still be upset if we don't take care of business here against this drama filled team.

We're 3-1 under MM after the bye (2-1 on the road).

I expect us to come out flat, close game, down to the wire.

If Harvin is out that would be huge. Rice should be a non factor if he plays (I think he will).

Stop Peterson, win the game.

Need Clifton to come up big again against Allen, who for some reason seems to be dialing it in this season.

Beginning a stretch of 4 out of 5 on the road, all tough games.

NFC is so bunched up we can't lose a conference game and especially a division game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm a little more worried about Jared Allen this time around because since our last meeting he has started to play better. I'm sure the home crowd will get him even more pumped up for this game. Hopefully Clifton can shut him down. We gotta go back to the screen passes to help against the pass rush as well.

Yeah, I hope when their season is essentially done he stops doing that god damn wave of the hand over his head to get the crowd going on EVERY snap.
