BB didn't call that pass. I do agree that was the one play I had a question with, but that was on Budmayr, not BB. Really though, Indiana couldn't have stopped a Pee Wee team on Saturday, but lets ignore the facts. Maybe we should have kneeled it in the 3rd quarter.

Re: Hoos-ier-daddy @ Wisconsin
The Badgers ran 30 plays in the 2nd half. 19 rushes (for 155 yards) and 11 passes. So they were basically 2 to 1 rushing vs passing in the 2nd half.
Their last three drives they only attempted a pass four times compared to 11 rushes (for over 100 yards).
Here are their passing plays in the 2nd half.
A 2 yard pass on 1st and goal for a TD to make it 44-10.
A 19 yard pass on 2nd and 7.
A 17 yard pass on 1st and 10.
A 9 yard pass on 1st and 10.
A 16 yard pass on 2nd and 1.
A 13 yard pass on 1st and 10.
An 11 yard pass on 3rd and goal.
A 5 yard pass on 1st and 10.
An incomplete pass on 2nd and 12.
A sack on 3rd and 12.
A 74 yard pass on 3rd and 6.
Does any of that look like they're trying to run up the score?

Also, something interesting.
How come on ESPN or any writer never talks about the Connecticut women's basketball team running up the score? Yes, I know women's sports aren't as popular and they have a 79 game winning streak, but should that matter?
They played their first game yesterday and won 117-37. Is that not running up the score? And it's not the first time, look at some of their scores last year. 105-35, 87-34, 91-46, 86-37, 87-48, 84-42, 90-35, 91-24, 95-39, 90-36, 74-36, 90-50 and those last four scores are from the NCAA tournament.
I remember playing a middle school basketball game against a team we were completely overmatched against. We ended up losing 58-11, not one coach or player was angry after the game that we lost by 47 and they never let up. They did what they should've done. They put in their bench players when the game was decided and told them to play. You can't just expect a team to hold the ball for 30 seconds in Connecticut's example and let the shot clock expire, just like you can't expect the Badgers to wait 40 seconds and kneel the ball three times and then punt or the team that kicked my team's ass to dribble around and play keep away for 5 minutes at a time. In many ways that's much more embarrassing than them continuing to play and score.

Dude for College Football Live just called the Journal-Sentinel the Milwaukee Journal-Constitution.
Lynch was complimentary after the game.
"Believe me, you know Wisconsin, we're not sexy."
Brings up how the 4th string QB, 5th string RB and 4th string C were in the game for the final TD. People seem to conveniently forget that.

That's just it though
The only people watching the game for the most part were Badgers and Hoosier fans, so all these folks complaining saw was the 83 points scored and the bomb when we had 69 points in the 4th quarter.

Native Hoosier here, also Hoosiers fan, and a Packers fan. Just want to say that I have no ill will towards the Badgers, we aren't, and never will be a football school, it was actually fun to watch, even if it was my Hoosiers. It's IU, we aren't supposed to be good at football. I just wish you could do the same to UofL. Hate those bastards across the river.
