See the Hawks (free)

Post#1 » by evildallas » Wed Nov 10, 2010 5:28 pm

Occasionally I find extra tickets to the different games that I will gladly pass on to whomever can use them and cheer on the Hawks. Email me at evildallas@gmail.com to claim them if you like. First come, first serve.

EDIT: I removed the game list because all are claimed at the moment. I'll edit and bump this thread next time I have more tickets available.

evil,

What do you mean when you say "season ticket holder bonus"?? Do the Spirit occassionaly give away freebies to season ticket holders? What sorts of ticket freebies? Do they ever offer free Thrashers tickets?

They occasionally will email an offer for 2 tickets to a (less popular) Hawks game or Thrashers game or a discount to something else to season ticket holders. It doesn't happen all the time but it pays to keep an eye on your email just in case and if you are a season ticket holder make sure they have an email address on your account. Since I already go to the games and don't work with many basketball fans I pass them on when I get a chance with a post here.

Sometimes the offer is for only as many tickets as you buy, so for me that would be 1 (prices went up this year). I'm still willing to pass those on, but a lot of people don't like going to games solo so those are less attractive to the group.

Edit: They also seem to be using Facebook to reach out. I'm not a Facebook user, but I did get an account just to collect discounts (AMC was running a discount 1 Sunday with 50 cent Popcorn and 50 cent Drink (any size), it was too good to pass up).

Thanks again for the tickets. My daughter and I really enjoyed the game. She really liked the seats since both Harry and SkyHawk came to section and she got her picture with each.

Glad you enjoyed it. Question for you, did they hand out thundersticks so you could affect the free throw shooters?

My daughter won some at the spinning wheel, but they had no idea where we would be sitting when they gave her the prize. She was one of the few with them around us.

They've been really tight with the thundersticks this year. Kind of depressing.

You think they don't have a sponsor or some fans complained about the noise of random hitting?

Just costs. They still give them out in some instances.

I noticed the lack of pyro. I guess Scana or Atlanta Gas Light (whomever the last sponsor was) pulled out as sponsor for that.
