I'd do a Barbosa for Haywood and right to switch Miami pick with Dallas pick.

I can't see Dallas giving up Haywood with the need for size against teams like the Lakers. Also, until Chandler shows he can play over 70 games in a season, they need to hold on the Haywood. Or maybe thry could sign Dampier :)
BUT...
...if they were dealing him, I would send Barbosa for sure. They also might like Reggie to get some toughness back.

How this trade...defensively it makes us better, helps us becoming better rebounding team and gives us more cap space to work with.

Toronto trades

Andre Bargnani
Jose Calderon
Andersson

For

Jason Thompson
Samuel Dalemberty ( Expiring )
Hassan Whiteside( prospect)
Fransico Garcia ( Good 6th man)

Kings might not do it, but Bargnani would give their franchise big allot more space to operate than Landery who is under sized and plays close to the basket...

I may bite these words, but I would part with Ed Davis for

Okafor/Marcus Thornton

for

Ed Davis/Marcus Banks/Reggie Evans

A lineup of

Irving or Brandon Knight or Maalik Wayns
Marcus Thornton
Demar Deroz
Bargs
Okafor

would sure be exciting. I'll eat Okafor's contract since there's not much in this upcoming F.A crop..

However the Hornets would have to start losing games. And I, would have to lay off the drugs

You know there's rules that define what trades are possible right?

I'd do a Barbosa for Haywood and right to switch Miami pick with Dallas pick.

I think the guy who makes the most sense for Dallas is Reggie Evans.
They need a banger off the bench, with a minimal fiscal commitment.

Perhaps Evans + Andersen for Haywood if they find they want out of his commitment,
But I will admit that Haywoods contract does worry me a little

Haywood's 30 going on 31, so you would be paying for his long-term decline into sub-mediocrity.

We need to explore deals for a PG's IMO - Flynn, Lawson, G.Hill etc. and take Barnes with the 1st pick :)

Haywood definitely brings what we need from the C position. Even in his diminished role this year he's still getting 10.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per36. What I worry about is that he's turning 31 in a week and he's signed for at least 4 more years. The last thing we need is another potential Hedo contract. I'd rather wait it out till the offseason, at least then we have a chance at signing a guy like Gasol, Perkins, or Oden (or drafting a a young big like Kanter or Sullinger)

I think this is another option that needs to be looked at. We don't necessarily *have* to draft a PG, though the draft should be PG heavy. We have far too many holes to play that game and there are a lot of PGs available with what we can offer.

Bargs for Jeff Foster, Soloman Jones, and a first round pick (lottery protected until 2016)

Lets us shed Bargs. That all the positive we need. But will the Pacers do it. I'd even be happy with a couple of second rounders.

Trade ID #5736873

Toronto trades: J Jack, Weems, Evans, Miami 1st round
Memphis trades: OJ Mayo, Thabeet

Memphis get some vets to boost their playoff push. Raps get younger as part of their rebuild. Reunite OJ and Derozan for the Cali connection.

Trade ID #5736876

Toronto trades: Bargnani, David Andersen
Indiana trades: Dunleavy, McRoberts.

Indiana wants a PF bad, Raptors want to get rid of Bargnani bad. Dunleavy is an expiring contract plus a serviceable player.

i think this bargnani to indy makes most sense

bargnani, evans

for

posey, george, foster

indy gets bargs and a banger off the bench.bargs comes without easting 2011 caproom. the raptors get a true sf and clear a jam at the pf

how about this. if the griz are reluctant to pay a 29 year old randolph for 5-6 years

to memphis
andrea bargnani
leandro barbosa
reggie evans

to toronto:
zach randolph
hamed haddadi

we clear alot of cap room. randolph can be flipped in a 3 way for a pick or just let expire.

What about this deal with the Kings?

Thompson+Greene for Wright+Andersen+Miami 1st?

Both Thompson and Greene haven't been getting as many minutes this year with other players (Dalembert, Cousins, Casspi) ahead of them in the rotation. This gives the Kings expiring players (that play the same positions) and the Miami pick. We get two young players at the expense of the Miami pick.

At 6-11, 250, Thompson can be serviceable at the 4/5, he's athletic, rebounds well, and is a decent scorer. At 24, he's still got some upside, and did well last year as a starter (12.5pts/8.5rebs/1blk in 30 mins)

Greene is a long 3 (6-11), he can score, and bother some people with his length. He's just 22 as well.

I'd love to pair up DD and OJ (especially while his value seems to be a little lower right now), but I don't see us getting him without our pick. I think Jack+pick (+Alabi?) for Thabeet+Mayo might be workable, but then I'm not sure if it's worth it for us to give away our pick if we can potentially get a franchise PG or wing with it.
