Twolves interesting stats & PER48. 11/16

Post#1 » by Ace_Rockola » Tue Nov 16, 2010 6:43 am

So just looking at PER 48 stats and seeing the things going on so far this season.

Beasley is #6 in the NBA in scoring per 48. (Before tonights 28point outing) With 32 points per 48. He also averages the least minutes out of the top 10 PER 48 scorers in the NBA (30.7)
He is #1 in FG's per 48 (12.49) and #3 FG attempts per 48 (25.77).

Darko - #5 in blocks per game with 2.36. and he ranks #2 in blocks per 48 4.99).

Onto K-Love. Of course #1 in RPG (14.8) #12 in free throws attempted (68) #32 in PPG (18.4)

Corey Brewer is #7 in steals per game (2.27) and #1 in steals per 48 (4.73)

And onto our man Pek hes #15 in the NBA in turnovers per 48 (5.03) and he is #1 in fouls per 48! (11.1)

I think the best thing out of all this is Pek is #1!

Brewer's stats are good to see and Darko is either a ridiculous shot blocker or everyone just gets beaten worse then the Iverson Nuggets.

Some advanced stats show that Anthony Tolliver is our best player on the court...82 games "simple rating" is one of the best ratings around IMO. Really shows the impact the star players have on the court...here's ours so far

Tolliver+8.6
Telfair+7.4
Wes+4.7
Beasley+2.1
Brewer-.3
Love-1.1

The rest are ugly....Wes Johnson at sg is holding his oppenent to a 9 Per....

Wow at Pekovic, that gave me a laugh. Brewer's took a lot of flack on here, he's been one of the unsung heroes so far this year, I'm still a fan of his. The rest aren't really surprising, Darko's guaranteed blocks when he gets sufficient minutes.

I wonder what kind of contract offers Brew will be getting next year. Whats cheap enough to keep him as our bench hustler?

Since it's CBA time I'm expecting Brewer to not get as much as he would've in years past.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall:

Ronnie Brewer got something around 3.3 million?
Gomes got something around 3 million?

I think Corey is better than both of those players, so I'm guessing a 3 or 4 year deal at about 3.5 or 4 million a year would be enough to lock him up so nobody else would take him. Since he's restricted, a team like Portland may sign him to an offer in the ball park of 4.5 even (I'm saying Portland because they seem to enjoy giving in-Division RFA's big contracts).
