I'm hurting in FT% and I'm not great with Assists either. Heres my team:
Chris Paul, Nor PG
Jason Richardson, Pho SG
Rudy Gay, Mem SF
Josh Smith, Atl PF, SF
Brook Lopez, NJ C
Jamal Crawford, Atl SG, PG
Luis Scola, Hou PF, C
Mike Conley, Mem PG
Nicolas Batum, Por SF
Ron Artest, LAL SF
Kevin Garnett, Bos PF
Beno Udrih, Sac PG, SG
Samuel Dalembert, Sac C
I'm thinking about trading Conley and Batum for Billups and Kirilenko. I will lose assists but I might be able to win more blocks and steals categories by switching Batum and Kirilenko. Also, I'll get some 3s. What do you all think?
Also, I'm thinking of picking up Milicic and dropping Dalembert. Milicic is picking it up and I really only have Dalembert for his blocks.

Re: Thinking about this trade...
Let me get this straight, you have chris paul, conley, udrih, crawford (somewhat josh smith) and your failing in assists? how many teams in your league 5?
stand pat with that PG rotation and you will be fine. paul good for 10+ conley and udrih will each give you around 6 and Josh smith is good for 4. You might not dominate assists but you wll surely win most matchups

I'd advise you not to trade for Billups unless you want to take a hit in FG%. A potentially big one. I'm on board with you dropping Dally, though.

Yeah you guys are all right. After some more consideration thats a horrible trade, I'm actually alright with assists, I think i jumped the gun on that one.
I'm more looking for help with FT% where I am hurting the most, in comparison to the rest of the league. I'm top 3 every category but I'm near the bottom of the league with FT%.
Should I just admit defeat on that one category or try to change it up? Maybe Conley for Andre Miller?
My league works with the categories W/L as your record. So that's why this one specific category can hurt me.

You're not going to win every single category. What you want to do is build around your best player and win a majority of the categories. Building an identity for your team. Once playoff time roles around, you don't want to lose 6-2 where every category was close, but rather winning 5-3 or 4-3-1 because you had 1 or 2 categories locked up.
