Channing Frye just said this on his facebook... "If everyone could send your prayers out for Robin and his knee for a speedy recovery, also for my favorite rookie MAtt Janning he got released tonight wish him luck I know he is gonna make it somewhere in the NBA he's a great kid it was a pleasure playing with him." Thoughts?

its okay. more cap space for a PF.

Bit sad to see him go. Had a great SL and looked really good in training camp, but we were just too deep for him to get any playing time.

I guess somebody had to be released to make room for Earl Barron. I thought Siler would've been released but it makes sense cause you can't have too many bigs.

Shame, he seemed like a good guy w/ high IQ and solid work-ethic. Wish him luck too in his future endeavors.

It's a tough break but that's just how it goes - if Robin stays healthy, he would likely have been here all year

a really good young player, great character and work ethic, popular with the other players - he'll catch on somewhere

He'll be on our Summer League team again next year. Lets hope he shows us something new for us to sign him.

The Knicks should sign Janning, they could really use a fundamentally sound pg right now.

He could of been a good shooter but we'll never know. Maybe some other team sign him.
