D.J Augustin, the most underrated PG in the league.

Post#1 » by Stun704 » Thu Nov 18, 2010 7:04 am

I'm not saying DJ is an elite PG yet, but I am sure he will be, as of right now, DJ has the highest assist to turnover ratio in the league, slightly edging Chris Paul.. and has averaged over 10 assists in the least 3 games, with virtually no pure 3 shooters in the rotation outside of Boris and Jax.. This kid is a stud, and has bounced back from his sophmore slump.. with Lopez starting slow, and DJ getting better each game, its seeming like the bobcats may have made the right decision.

I think DJ will be the MIP this year, and will become chris paul like in the future.

he's been playing fantastically, but nobody on gen board RealGM would recognize it because they don't know anything about our team. They think Tyrus Thomas is a scrub bust lol. RealGM members only know about guys that get on TV commercials

Why not? he has court vision, can get over 10 assists in any given game with barley any shooters in the rotation.. currently has the best assist turnover ratio in the league.. and to top it all off is already a dead eye shooter, and is working on his driving ability, once he starts getting calls he will be deadly.

shocker, i know. but i'm sure Lopez would be considered a bust playing under LB.

Whenever I saw him play (not much), I always thought he had talent and tried to do the right things, but was just a little undersized and didn't have the greatest body, which put a cap on his upside.

CP3, and DJ are the same height, so its a moot point if you have the mental abilities to make up for the lack of height.

I was pretty impressed with how he played against the Wolves, but it's highly unlikely he ever becomes like Chris Paul. It's outlandish claims like that which make people WANT to underrate him.

I rated him a high grade in the draft and didn't mind Charlotte drafting him over Lopez even with Felton. He's a great talent, if you could trade Jax and get a center, the team would be back to where they were last year.

DJ is a decent player but calling him the most underrated PG in the league after a few games? Saying that now he proving that they don't need a top level center. Talk to me when January hits.
