Question about JT Suns releated

Post#1 » by QuasiArcane » Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:31 am

Just wondering what kind of pick and roll game he has and his level of awareness. I know it seems improbable the Suns could obtain him, but out of curiousity I am wondering what you as fans think would be a fair deal.. The Suns still have a $5.7 trade exception from the amare trade. And their draft picks. Wondering if the Suns could pick up a player with their exception that would be of intrest to you. Just looking for some plausible ideas that would benefit both teams.

Personally I dont want the Kings to make any trades unless it is a big one. I really dont see the point in trading our 8-9th best player for your 8-9th best player or a pick in the late teens. We dont need to get younger. We dont need any added depth for roll players. We need experience and star power. You have nothing on your roster that would benefit us in any way, short or long term.

You guys are still a good team and possibly playoff bound. JT would be great on your team and would add a very solid piece to your rotation. But there is nothing you guys have that would be worth the paper work. Except maybe Dragic but we would have give up way too much for a guy who is a maybe a slight upgrade from our current Slovenian.

The fact that our 8-9th best player is being used as our 10th or 11th best player might be a reason.

Hmmm...that draft pick could be really interesting now that I think about it. I do think the Suns are going to get better and playing well below their capabilities but I also don't think if they really do suck this bad JT will ruin the pick for us all by himself.

I actually think JT would be good with the suns. He's a decent mid-range shooter when he pops and a good finisher (when he wants to be) on the role. Sometimes he throws up a weak little floater and sometimes he tries to hammer it down. As for the kings i agree with king125, we don't need to get younger and a big trade should be the only trade. If we keep trying to rebuild through the draft we will have to wait like 5 years before tyreke and cousins are veterans to even get into the playoffs. So I don't see anyone one the suns that would be the right fit for sactown but JT would fit well there IMO.
