Jays release Shawn Hill

The much-travelled Shawn Hill is on the move again.
The Mississauga native, who played baseball as a youth with the Mississauga North Tigers, was released yesterday by the pitching-rich Toronto Blue Jays, even though the 29-year-old threw very well for the Jays after being called up in September.
In four starts, the oft-injured Hill was 1-2 with a 2.61 ERA and 14 strikeouts.
On Sept. 23 at Rogers Centre, Hill won his first game in a year-and-a half in the same game that saw Jose Bautista swat his 50th home run.

I'd edit the title and put S. in front of Hill. Now that the Canadian pitcher's gone, it's time to bring back Quantrill.

I didn't really think he has much of a future with the team anyways. Maybe he can get a spot as a long reliever or 5th man in the NL.
