Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
Neither.
If I was forced to sign one of them it would depend on what my team need's a big body to foul opposing centers or a decent shooting big man who cant rebound.

At least Bargs can do something, Kwame wasn't good at anything.

A lot of people view him as a good post defender. Bargnani is arguably the worst defensive player in the NBA after Steve Nash. And he is being around $50 million

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
Eh, he might have the strength to body up opposing big man, but I never viewed him as having very good basketball instinct or timing so unless he somehow managed to improve in those two areas I wouldn't call him a great post defender, maybe average.
So, if you give Kwame that honor it would be a pick between a average/decent post defender who is terrible on the offensive end, or a poor defensive big man who has decent offensive skills and can shoot/handle the ball somewhat. It would probably just come down to what your team needs.
Im still leaning towards Bargs even though I wouldn't want either player on my team.

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
Bargnani's only strength defensively is his man to man D.
This is Bargnani fairly easily. I'm not a big fan of his, but he's a better player than Kwame. Kwame is terrible.

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
well obviously im not taking bargs at 50 mil, i just assumed which player i'd rather have. If i had to choose i'd go with Bargs, but i'd cry about having to have him on my team.

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
Bargs would make a nice back-up big for a scoring punch. Not a fan of but I'd take Bargs at this point.
For the first time in my life I realized that I was truly happy.......then I remembered I was drunk.

Kwame always made me laugh when he had the ball on the offensive end which is always good for a teams spirits. He just looked... so awkward lmao. After thinking it over ill take Kwame for his comedic value.

Obviously when you bring contrtacts in it's not really an argument. As a player though Bargnani is miles better than Kwamay Brown. It's like saying if you'd have Gilbert Arenas and his 120 million contract or Larry Hughes for the minimum...

He usually volley balled it a few time's and then finally managed to actually keep it in his hands 1/10 times they actually passed it to him.

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
Kwame Brown's scouting report, from the year he got drafted....

The most gifted player in the draft, Brown is a great
athlete with exceptional basketball skills. He can handle the ball
like a guard and has a good-looking stroke from 15 to 17 feet. Brown
also has good floor vision and passes extremely well. Brown is
currently at his best when he faces up and takes people off the
dribble using an excellent crossover dribble. Defensively, Brown is a
devastating shotblocker with superb leaping ability, timing and reach.
Because of his combination of size, strength and skill, Brown is often
compared to Chris Webber and Kevin Garnett. At this point, Brown has a
much more NBA-ready physique than Garnett had coming out of high
school.

Genius.

Good God. Whoever wrote that scouting report should be fired from his job and banned from all further basketball related events.

Re: Kwame Brown or Andrea Bargnani
I've always wondered what would have happened if Kwame was allowed to be a PF instead of converted into a C. He looked infinitely more comfortable when he was younger, slimmer and relied more on a face-up game and a 15-footer. He wasn't ever clever enough to be a star player, but he could have maybe been a 15/8 type player that way, perhaps a little better.
Speculation, though. In reality, Kwame's a decent rebounder and defender. Nothing special at either. Bench player all the way. Bargs is flashing signs that he may be capable of scoring 20+ on decent efficiency on a crap team, which is still better than what Kwame provides, I guess.

Bargnani at PF, Kwame at C.
