They aren't cheap but they are well made and they are angled, which I personally like. If you ever do P90X+ they are needed for Upper Plus. Actually you can just use dumbbells instead of pushup bars if necessary.

If you do the entire workout, what is the required equipment again? (For just P90X)

Dumbells/Res Bands
Pull-up bar

And then that's it, right?

What's average height? If it's under 5'9" I might as well go get a royal with cheese.

Yup, that's all you need. You can use bands in place of dumbbells and bar if needed. I would recommend dummbells and bar instead. You get a much better workout. But when first starting out pull ups can be very tough and it may be better to use bands and get more reps than use the bar and only be able to do a couple. Eventually you can go to the bar and do enough to make it worthwhile.

I have made the decision to do P90X.

MD, LUKE23 and DB... You will be my inspiration and heroes if I get into good shape.

If I die and/or have a heart attack from overworking myself early in the program, I will hate all of you. :P

Good luck! I'm only a week in so I'm not 100% sure yet I'll see it through. I think I will, but It's gonna take some determination.

I think a friend or two of mine might do it with me. So hopefully having the extra people for motivation will be nice. :D

I've been doing it for almost 2 months now (I also have a pretty physical job and run/walk at least 4 miles/day/). Started at 214lbs, down to 193lbs. Have veins/muscles popping out of places I didn't know I had. It's awesome but you have to stick with it. The diet is the biggest part to keep up with.

Is this website legit? I thought it was supposed to be like $140 dollars?

Does this come with all the regular stuff?

Do you know anyone that currently does it? If so, get some DVD re-writables and burn them and then just buy the equipment. That is what I did. I'd be wary of the really low price P90X websites, I've heard they aren't legit.

It's about $129 direct from Beachbody. Lots of counterfeits out there, buy at your own risk.
