Man-o-man, this is gonna be an exciting finish to the regular season. Getting the 8th spot is gonna be like winning the Cup for whichever team get it.

Not only the 8th, but the 6th and 7th are up for grabs too.

I think the Rangers pretty much have the playoff spot clinched, pending a single victory. It may come down to the Saturday game against the Habs for the Leafs.

I dunno. The Habs play them on Thursday (Rangers). So if Habs can win that game, that spot is still up for grabs.

Well we pulled it out - but playing like this against a team like Philly isn't going to get us into the playoffs.

We have to pretty much win straight out, and in regulation against the Habs to make it.

MAS' Prediction:

Habs lost to a serging NYR team, Leafs beat a troubled NYI team

then Leafs beat the Habs in a SO on Saturday.... talk about drama eh?

Wishful thinking MAS ;)

Habs win against the NYR in regulation (doesn't matter if they are surging... they were surging last time the Habs beat them as well), Leafs win in Regulation vs. NYI

Habs beat the Leafs in OT on Saturday, and because the Leafs are eliminated, Tucker cheapshots somebody on the Habs. Lol.

What if the Isles get 1 Pt and Tie with Toronto. Who gets the 8th seed?

The Islanders have to win or the Leafs make the playoffs because we have more wins.
