I do wonder why you think JRich and the Nets are an unlikely long term match.

I just think that no player honestly wants to ink a deal with a team like NJ. Maybe when they move to Brooklyn, but that's still years off in the future. J-Rich knows he can find a similar deal with a team that might actually be competing, rather than lock the start of the twilight of his career on a dead-end team. If that deal were made, it would be awesome to end up resigning him (at a fraction of his current type deal) after the season. I just don't know if NJ trades an expiring for an expiring... you know?

This guy is going to change "everything Nets" in the very near future


And I'm all for keeping JRich...re-signing him- 4 years/30 million sounds about right....and easily within what he could find in current market (new CBA notwithstanding). I don't think there are much more than a dozen SGs in the league better.

So what does that tell ya? Honestly, i dont think i will ever be a mod. We already got a few great ones (and one that stops in every 2-3 months), and i also believe you must live outside Arizona to even be considered.

For the record, Troy Murphy's career defensive rebounding percentage is higher than Charles Oakley's.
