While Jose starting, after a while will make you beg we had JJ

Jose has fooled the Raptors and the fans once,...twice... and will it happen again?

Jose is the smartest man on the Raptors. He probably phoned Jordan and told him he needed to get out of the trade or else Jose would unleash his wrath in Charlotte.

Jose is not that bad. He's just not worth 9Mill. It's not his fault his skill set is suited for 1950s style of play. He would have killed it.

3 Deals. I don't know how we get Banks involved.
Peja for TPE (terrible use of the Bosh TPE IMO)
TPE for Jack
Bayless for Anderson

Or we could craft it like this:
Peja for Jack, Banks & Evans
Bayless for Anderson

That's a pretty big mid-season deal. Especially for a team like New Orleans that's doing so well at 10-1 even though these are back of the rotation guys for them.

This seems to make the most sense, assuming only the 5 players are involved:

Jack, Banks and Andersen for Peja
Bayless for TPE (2.5 M of Bosh Exception)

That way there's still a good 12 million left of the TPE.

But I personally like this trade a lot and hope it goes through. Moving Andersen opens minutes up for Davis when he comes back, and Bayless is a solid young guard who has shown flashes of his potential.

That makes more sense, you're right. So there would be 2 deals anyways because of the restrictions on Bayless.

Really? Everyone is assuming he's been dealt even though there's ABSOLUTELY no confirmation of the deal outside of Greece. I'll assume JJ is still a Raptor until told otherwise; I'm still excited that we're getting rid of another quality player... 20 wins HERE WE COME! (genuine excitement I don't want the 9-12th seed)

Bad trade. Jack is a decent player on a very decent contract. Its not like we are getting much in return for him.

No, we don't want to separate our TPE, because a TPE can only absorb a smaller contract, and TPE cannot combine together to make a bigger one (unlike trading players). So a small TPE is pretty much useless.

This trade would pretty much signal that we are not rebuilding by accident but rather because Bryan wants to, Peja being an expiring and Bayless being a young athletic cheap pg...

I like the trade for that reason alone, I don't care for Peja but he serves his purpose as an expiring rental player and Bayless for all his struggles I still think has potential and could fit nicely with our athletic wings in Derozan and Weems, he was showing some flashes of it last year in Portland...

I was going to post this article - even though it's all Greek to me. However, you have it.

Word of warning: We have a few Bulls posters stationed in Greece & they sometimes tell us all these exclusives that they have just heard or read.

NOT ONE - in other words, NONE - of them ever happened.

They have to get one right eventually but dont bet that this is the one!

Need to hear from a reliable source before I can believe this. But I like this trade if it does go through. What I get from this is that we are truly in rebuilding mode if we get an expiring (peja) and youth (bayless), which imo, is a good thing. The faster we start rebuilding, the faster we can get out of it.

wow.....looks this this has been out for a few hours now, and if it hasnt been reported from another more reliable source i doubt this is true........but i dont see the point of this trade, beyond this year were only saving 2 mill (jacks 5 v bayless' 3) but with a lesser player

Bayless is a worse version of Barbosa.

I think Peja has similar value to Banks + Evans + Andersen, and I am not sure if Peja is serviceable, however, if we have plans, then it would make sense.
Meanwhile, I don't know if Jack for Bayless is worth it, because Jack is a borderline starter.
I hope NO throws us a protected first, since they are in the top of the conference, so a bottom first pick isn't a lot to them (most likely 25th pick).

We're just replacing smaller expirings for a larger one and 1 combo guard for another.

Bayless is not a pg.

Hornets get needed depth and we get consolidated cap space.

Good if true solely based on the fact that we get Peja's expiring in return but not believing this until I hear it from a couple sources.

Is consolidated cap space even a good thing?

This particular deal is not happening

First, it doesnt work in Trade Checker

http://www.realgm.com/src_tradechecker/4/

Second, Bayless cant be dealt until Dec 23 since he was recently traded.

maybe there is a trade in the works but this is not it

I'm not understanding this. Peja and Kleiza at SF? Where does Sonny get his PT?

Edit So my link with ESPN just gets erased??
