December 15th. Hoefully Gallo can continue to do his thing and we can get it done.

If Carmela wants to be here, Carmela will come next season. Gallo must stay.

La La Vazquez, the wife of Carmelo Anthony, insists she's not the reason for speculation that the forward will soon play in New York.

La La Vazquez, the wife of Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, says she's not pushing her husband to play for the Knicks.

Anthony has a three-year, $65 million contract extension on the table from Denver that he's yet to sign. There has been speculation that he'll soon play for the Knicks or Nets.

Vazquez insists she's not the driving force behind the rampant speculation that her husband will end up in New York.

"Wherever he's going to feel comfortable is where I want him to be," she said. "If that's here in Denver, then we are happy to stay here in Denver."

Anthony told reporters that he's not ruling out staying in Denver but is keeping his options open.

I just have this feeling a trade is going to go down by Dec 15, or soon thereafter, where we bring back Al Harrington + Melo for Curry and 'Buke's expirings, Gallo, AR, Walker, and a 2014 1st round pick. Might be a 3rd team involved who takes on AR for another 1st round pick (maybe Detroit would be interested)

I just don't think Melo fits here, especially with Amare.

Bringing in a hardcore Iso player isn't going to help this team.

I personally think we need a quality Center. I love Ronny but the way he plays you can't run him for 82 games as a starter or he'll get injured. Someone that can get 10-15points/10-12rebounds and 2-3 blocks. That would really solidify our frontcourt and make us much much tougher.

There's no way in hell we give up that much and take back Harrington to boot. That's a ridiculous trade. Come on.

You really think it's impossible for him to change his game here? Iso is what he does in Denver. When he comes here, its a whole new system.

Besides even if he does Iso, he gets double teamed most of the time which allows open post baskets for Amare and open shots for 3 point shooters.

Basically the samething that killed us with Gary Forbes.

Agreed, but a player like him would be amazing on this team, and probably overall more beneficial style-wise than Carmelo.

My gut tells me that Denver will be stubborn and not trade him. They think they are title contenders.

Translation your gut tell you that Denver is willing to lose Carmelo for nothing in return. I highly doubt that.

David Aldridge interviewed Masai Ujiri a few weeks ago and he said they are definitely going to trade him by the deadline if (when) Carmelo doesn't sign the extension

No, Kevin Martin himself is not really smart. A player in that mold though. Are there any at the same level as Martin? Off the top of my head I can't think of any, so it is really a moot point. But if Martin didn't have injury issues, he would be a better fit than Melo.
