Some random thoughts...
- Al Jefferson doesn´t seem to be a clever player... he lacks obvious fundamentals, he's not capable to box people out off the rim, he's got a tendency to miss easy shots and he's not bettering his very mediocre passing ability;
- Deron's been playing half the time as an All Star, and half the time as an All-Crap;
- If we're not going to use him, why on earth do we took Fesenko again?

It cannot be overstated enough Big Al always tries to out jump people on rebounds instead of boxing out his man. It's not something recent, it's been happening all season. I'd hope the coaches have gotten onto him about it, as it is something that can't keep happening if we want to get better.

To me it seems fairly obvious that Al is still trying to find his role here, and at times the rest of the team forgets he is there. So it seems very unfair to compare Boozers numbers last year (against a Spurs team not playing nearly as well) to his tonight.

And although he is clearly struggling right now with the adjustment, I DO think he as well as the team will come around, and once Memo is healthy their potential will be scary.

Wow we suck hahaha.

I'm starting to lose my patience with Jefferson...I've been trying really hard but the man needs to grow up and play for real already. He is killing us.

WTF are you writing about?

The reason a Pro is making what the make is because of me and you WTF are you talking about?

It's pretty easy to see what he meant. I don't know what the hell YOU'RE talking about though, mjvile.

Thanks. It was pretty straight-forward.

i never thought I would have said this year but the Jazz may have made a mistake taking on Jeffersons' huge contract. If he doesnt play at all last night and Fess plays instead, the Jazz rebound better then the Jazz might have won. I think the Jazz comebacks without Jefferson in the game may be bc he wasnt in the game.

Lets see how he plays until mid-January and if no improvement then maybe the Jazz can dump his contract. I just hope he is a slow learner and starts to play alot better.

I wouldnt blame on player for a loos. Id blame the whole team. Everyone needs more hustle ,rebound the ball and get stops.

maybe people can give Big Al a little more than 10-15 games to show what he's made of.....I'm positive he's gonna start hitting all the easy ones he's been missing...as far as toughness remind me again what Boozer missed the biggest game of the season with last year??? People already forget that Big Al is playing through alot of pain in his shooting hand...and as far as Booz's rebounding I remember plenty of people bitching about how you could tell he was really concentrating on getting his stats even fighting teammates for rebounds....not to mention he got away with the most pushing underneath if any recent player I recall.....

That's a point in his favor.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I can understand Jefferson missing easy shots or getting lost on defense from time to time but there's no reason he shouldn't rebound the ball. There's not a complicated rebounding system he has to adapt to he just needs to get position, box out, and grab the ball.

Actually I agree with you... but sometimes AJ lack of fundamentals is kind of scary too....

The offense was bad last night too, we only scored 82 points. D-Will can't take over every night. Frankly, the Spurs only played well the first and last quarters. They missed a ton of shots and didn't shoot very well, we just shot worse. A typical Jazz execution with 50% shooting and the game is ours.

Actually I thought we played pretty good defense for the game. Our rebounding hurt us as we gave away too many 2nd chance points. Turnovers killed us. And we missed some easy shots. Hard to win a game that way. I don't think Al is to blame for everything
