Wow, what a TD, still a lot of time on the clock though.

How does Ohio State winning not work in our favor? We avoid being in a 2 way tie with MSU which we'd lose.

It does, as of today. My point was if we don't get the results to help our strength of schedule, then we'll fall below them in the BCS rankings, and it will have ended up being irrelevant that OSU won today. All it will have done is created a tie atop the Big Ten when it wouldn't have otherwise.

Now, Northwestern screwed us over as usual by losing to Illinois. That was a significant blow to our SOS, because we play the Nerds but not Illinois, while it's the opposite for them. But we did get the benefit of Miami losing against Va Tech. Hopefully it will all be enough because we don't seem to be getting many breaks in the alternative results. I think it's a probability, but our grip is slipping a bit.

We still have a decent gap over OSU and with them barely winning and we won in convincing fashion I don't see that gap closing too much this week in the human polls. The computers is anyone's guess.

No matter what we had to cheer for OSU, though.

Obviously you know this Bern and I understand the SOS schedule thing sucks but if OSU had lost, our only hope was MSU losing next week. Now we could have MSU lose OR we hang ahead of OSU.

That would be incredibly frustrating if OSU won the BCS tie-breaker.

MSU beat UW
UW beat OSU

Yet because OSU took on an overrated Miami team, they go to the BCS, not either team that actually beat someone else in the tie.

Should've let them score.
