Lets still get rid of Whack Jack

Post#1 » by ElCapitan01Jax » Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:29 am

Ive been quiet with all you people but like I said give us time to heat up.HES CLEARLY THE TEAMS BEST PLAYER AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE!So you can trade for young prospects all you want since you may think thats the answer but without Jack the team becomes irrelevant. Its that simple.I guess if you want to build through the draft go right ahead.Be my guest.

I'd rather trade Wallace, S-Jax can play multiple positions and is the more consistent player.

lol yall people are crazy... What Jax has proven is players go through slides and hot streaks. you can't trade a player just because of a few bad games.. Keep crash/Jax/DJ/TT/UPS and use others as trade pieces

There is no "I rather player X than player Y" on this team. No one is untouchable.

He's still good rest of the NBA - look! You can have him for the low low price of cap relief and/or a 1st round pick!

You've been quiet because up until this past few games, he's sort of sucked - at both ends of the floor.

And I don't want to hear about this "it takes him some time in a new season to get going" stuff. We can't afford the luxury of our best players taking time to "get going".

No doubt that when Jax is on his game we are a much better team though.

why are our best players seemingly the only ones who "take time" to get going? perhaps that is why we are always 5 games under .500 by december.

a few bad games? most of his games were bad. he's only had maybe 3 really solid games where he's even looked like he cared. Its an 82 game season, not however many you feel like showing up for...

If Kaman wasn't such an injury magnet, it would be worth a consideration. Kaman can be a good center (and fill a huge need) IF healthy.

Unless we're trading Jax for salary cap relief, there's no reason to move him unless we're getting an equal caliber player in return.

S-Jax is a much better all around player, provides leadership and helps us win games. We make this trade our team is worse than the Okafor years. A starting back court of DJ and Henderson? With Carroll getting extended PT. Yikes! Thats a 20 win team without Jax. Think! And Kaman isn't a good consistent player anymore who you can count on. Waste of time.

OK... he makes us a .500 team and we make the playoffs - 8th seed and get embarrassed being swept out the 1st round by Boston,Orlando. Meh... i'm sick of this team being stuck in mediocrity, purgatory and Jax ain' going to get us out of it...I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT.

I'm not saying Kaman will either but he does give us something we've never had... a go to guy in the post. Either that or we get extremely lucky and get the number 1 pick in 2012 and draft Andre Drummond....who i've already had wet dreams about.

It's much easier to find a player with the skill set that Jax possesses than it is to find a player with the skill set that Kaman possesses.

if by that you mean being able to limp off the court when you have a hand injury and not a leg one, then yes you are correct, Kaman has a very rare skill set (only Okafor has a similar set)

Okafor has played in something like 273 straight games, but okay.
Humble yourself.

Uniqueness of skillset is not a value.
