Dude, we're 5-6 against a relatively easy schedule so far. We are far from the real deal.

I like the optimism, but be realistic.

Our strength of schedule for the first 10 games is in the top half of the league and with Orlando it's one of the top-10 most difficult schedules. And by real deal I mean playoff team. Not contender.

We're a lot better than I thought we'd be. Playoffs are a real possibility.

Really? Thats surprising considering our wins besides denver are Cleveland, Charlotte, Clippers, and Sixers. Thats far from impressive.

We were competitive in losses against the Bucks, Rockets, Magic, and Spurs. You said our schedule was relatively easy. It wasn't.

It was. It's 27th - and that includes Orlando.

If you adjust it for home/road, it drops to last.

The first ten games were about as easy of a schedule as you're ever going to see in the NBA.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

I remember reading that our schedule was tough, but I guess I'm wrong. Hollinger had us 16th on his power rankings before the loss, and that factors in strength of schedule.

I think we had the 16th best record in the league at 5-5. Most power rankings would have us there this early in the season.

I'm really not that concerned about whether or not our schedule has been relatively easy or not. We're playing for 4 quarters, which is by far and away a lot more than last year.

Most importantly we've been very competitive, even against the better teams in our schedule. We played SA very, very tough, until the final quarter, the Rockets were down to the wire, This game we easily could have won, and we dominated Denver.

Most importantly (other than one game) we haven't just layed down for anyone, like we often would last year.

I think were a playoff team, especially once darren comes back and adjusts fully to the system in place. I think we beat orlando tonight if we had darren to penetrate when our jumpers weren't falling

i didnt know we count moral victories in the NBA.

people on this board make me sick. They dont ask how you won, they ask if you won. We're 5-6 against an easy schedule. The only good teams we have played have beaten us. We got runover by a bad Philly team even. Its the NBA, everyone should be competitive with everyone, but its the good teams that find ways to come out on top. Furthermore, how can you post about us playing 4 quarters when we have awful performances in the 2nd half that cost us opportunities to win games like against the Spurs, Magic, Bucks, Hawks, Rockets, etc.

Either way, all that matters -> 5-6 and its not getting much better. Collison might be coming back, but we'll be out of the easy part of our schedule.

Oh, that's just being silly. Its poor diet and lack of hygiene that contribute to such things. However, I think it could be possible if you did hang out in a room with most everyone from this board then you may very well have some sort of case on your hands.
