The refereeing was absolute garbage in the 4th quarter. I swear you could have called a dozen fouls on westbrook alone during the game. The one where love was posting him was as obvious as it gets. Westbrook and Durant are getting the MJ treatment. Sometimes I wonder if Kevin Love is not very popular with most referees, because he seems to be on the losing end of most of our "missed calls".
Beasley also got raped on his putback attempt.
But we can't count on the refs to bail us out. We let their defense take us out of our offense in the last 4 minutes. Too much ball-pounding by Ridnour, too much random motion offensively, not enough screening, ball rotation, or offensive coordination. When they started fronting Darko we should have gone to pick n roll on his side to take them out of it. OKC did a great job of flooding the strong side of the floor, and we couldn't move the ball quick enough to make them pay for it.
One thing is certain though, the Darko beast has been unleashed. Replace Telfair and Brewer with Flynn and Webster, and we are going to start winning some games.
It was really refreshing to see us fight back and take a lead though, it shows this team has a lot more fight than the wolves of the last few years. They just need to learn to be calm in the eye of the storm at the end of close games.

I'm definitely looking forward to Flynn and Webster returning, but I really haven't had a problem with Brewer lately.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

The reffing was pretty bad, but man..
The no call on westbrook was pretty lame vs love. The no call for beasly at the end of the game was also bleh. The call against tolliver when guarding KD seemedout of line considering I saw no contact on that second attempt to KD and that was like right after the hack job love got.
Ridnour seeming like dead weight to me. He looked great earlier this season, but he's trying to create something he's not capable of. Seems sort of lost when pressured.
Also, OKC did a great job of guarding Beasly. Really trying to deny him the ball and while he didnt have a great game I still think he played well.

One thing we need to work on is not fouling jump shooters. There were about 5 instances where we bailed out OKC by doing that. Right now it's the little things that are killing us. When you have a lot of little mistakes, it turns into a big problem.
