Granger for K. Martin and D. Gibson

Post#1 » by Deepness5134 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 7:15 pm

What do you think? Should I do it? I would be getting Granger for those two. The only thing that worries me is Grangers history. But i do need a forward and need to condense my gaurds.

Whats the word good people of RGM?

I'd think that Kevin Martin has as much of an Injury concerns then Granger. If someone is offering you this...then do it.

I would definitely do it! (even without knowing how many teams are in your league, scoring format or the rest of your squad).

Granger is 1st round talent when he is healthy. I know that's a major concern but I think he's going to finally put together close to a full season this year. K. Martin is also one of the most injury-plagued players in the league so the risk pretty much cancel cancel each other out. Also, unless your league is REALLY deep... you shouldn't have any problem replacing Boobie Gibson off the waiver wire.

Granger is one of the most versatile players in the league and he is specifically focused on defense this year so I think he's going to have a stellar season. You are getting the player in the trade by a mile and you should be able to get someone to compensate for Gibson easily. If you need another forward beyond Granger, take a look at Kris Humphries. He took Troy Murphy's starting job and there are rumors that Murphy is going to be traded soon. He's young, athletic and has an incredible motor. I live in Dallas and got to watch him a lot last year. EVERY time he gets minutes he contributes well. I'd much rather have Granger/Humphries (or someone else) over K. Martin and D. Gibson any day. It's not even close in my mind.

Accept that trade before he realizes how much of an idiot he is!!!!

thanks guys - I'm actually offering him that trade. He's mentioned interest in those two and he's hurting for assits and 3s and I help him a little w/ the assits but a lot w/ the 3s.

i don't kow if he would do it - but i may be able to talk him into it (i did talk someone into an OJ mayo for Shard trade - although that's not as hard as this might be)

But thanks for all the input.

There is no way he's going to do it and thanks for wasting all of our time for a trade that you don't even have a shot at. I hate when people do this on RealGM.
