Need fast trade help.

Post#1 » by Starkiller » Tue Nov 23, 2010 12:37 am

I have been offered Paul Milsap and Ron Artest for Blake Griffin and Joakim Noah, I've been trying to ship Noah out before Boozer comes back to sell him high, as Noah's numbers should drop. I'm thinking about taking this deal, just wanna get reassured. Here's my team....

Nash
Wade
Mayo
Ariza
Noah
Griffin
Okafor
C. Brewer
Turiaf
Tyson Chandler
Darko
Hinrich
Stuckey

I've been winning 3's, steals, assists, rebounds, and points pretty much every week.

I wouldn't do this. Artest is overrated in fantasy. Paul Millsap is good but you get roughly around the same stats with Griffin. Assume they are a wash. You would then be "selling high" on Noah for a broken down artest. I would pass

Don't do it. Artest isn't much of a fantasy player. Besides, I don't think Noah's numbers go down that much. Dude is too much hustle.

What if I countered to get Ray Allen and Milsap for Noah and Griffin?

i personally don't like Ray Allen (mainly because he is a ballhog in nba2k11 my player >.>) but he is a better piece. It is a fairer trade, but i still think i would prefer Noah. Even when (knowing boozer, it can be "if") boozer comes back, noah will still get a double double and you know boozer won't fight for blocks with him lol. I think you are overestimating the effect Boozer will have on Noah and at the same time, undervaluing Noah. Noah is on the up and up and Ray Allen is declining

Question, if you get roughly the same stats with Griffin as you do Milsap, why is Milsap ranked 4th and Griffin near 200 in Yahoo?

They MUST have made a mistake. Yeah, his FT% is bad and he doesn't get blocks/steals..but 200?
No way. If you filter the yahoo ranks for only PF's you see a bunch of crappy and non-productive players ahead of him. They had to have messed up.

Right now on Yahoo Griffin is at 202, and has been anywhere from 150 to there all year, and it has not made since to me. I don't get how he's is ranked that low.

And this is why you don't use Yahoo rankings for anything EXCEPT trying to chump change a fool into making a lopsided trade with you.

prob cause of blocks and steals and ft percentage. Don't let that bother you, Griffin dominates with points, boards and fg %, and those stats are around the same as millsap. Don't let the rankings fool you, its basically a horizontal trade if you do griffin for millsap. You can get ur hustle stats from others

Oh I know this, I just find it strange that Yahoo has him ranked that low.
