Bogans blew a gasket at Thibs when he got pulled early in the first quarter. Result? He got to throw up all the bricks he wanted in the third. Brutal.

Korver's the guy imo, but if even if it were Brewer put in the starting spot I don't think the Bulls would be digging their way out of so many bad quarters.

I think he was in foul trouble, not much reason to bitch. Kobe was using and abusing him anyway.

Hopefully he breaks out and puts up 10 ppg 2 3s per game and the Bulls will have no need to bench him.

Just like everyone else? C´mon Bogans has to get benched but he didn´t play worse D on Kobe than Brewer did.

His only job on offense is to shoot threes. Everyone has bad nights but his silly ass wasn't even close. He should play spot minutes, it's really that simple.

It was clear that it got to the point where Rose completely stopped trusting him. In the 3rd quarter after that sequence where Bogans missed 2 wide open 3's and Rose finally knocked it down, Rose forced up a terrible shot as opposed to making the easy pass to Bogans in the corner. I don't blame him.

It's time to make the switch.

Bogans is now shooting 29% from downtown, so it'd make better sense for someone like Brewer to get in there and try to establish a running game. If Bogans was nailing his shots at a 35-37% clip, he would still be fair game as a starter. But he isn't, so we might as well see Brewer come in and use his athleticism.

There's one on the bench.

Yes but if you start him then you have no one off the bench to score.

JB is right. Bogans starts so that he have acoring off the bench.

If we play out top 5 guys, then who plays when they need a rest? We'll be blown out worse than we are now at times

Bogans has two jobs:

Defend and Knock down open 3s.

He is barely average with his defense, lacking the speed and athleticism to be any better,
And he isn't making his 3s.

I'd say it's time to start Brewer or maybe even CJ.

SMH. Is that a joke. CJ is horrid. He is a huge, huge problem as well.

Not as bad as you think, lately, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Take a look at 82games.com for CJ and be prepared to be surprised.

I don't need to look at 82games.com. CJ is terrible, he does not pass the eye test. He makes horrendous decisions with the ball and he takes bad shots.

I'd assume a lot of his +/- numbers on 82 games are inflated due to the hot game the bench had against SA in the 2nd quarter and the fact that he has been on the floor watching Rose do his thang in the 4th in recent games.

You'd rather see Bogans starting over Watson at the 2, then. I'd rather see Watson.

Can you agree on Brewer then, w/o calling my post a joke, Mr. Crankypants?

I would gladly take Watson over Bogans at SG.

We can't start Watson because we need him off the bench for Rose since they're our only two ball-handlers.

Brewer should play more, but I hate Korver getting too many minutes at the 2, Shannon Brown ran him ragged last night. Teams go straight at him. We should play him more at his natural position of SF whenever it's apparent that Luol "5-13" Deng has checked out of the game.

I don't see Thibodeau making the switch to be honest. I think he likes having the extra boost off the bench in Korver and Brewer and what we see now is what we're going to get. I just hope when Boozer comes back having Bogans play those 14 minutes get unnoticed because of the great play of the other starting four.

I don't agree with Bogans starting but I can understand Thibs thinking. What we really need is to get a better upgrade to Bogans. I'd love to add a Marcus Thornton here or any upgrade to Bogans.

Yeah with the addition of Jarret Jack and Belineli, we should look in that direction.
