Kwame Brown
How out of shape does Kwame Brown appear? If he appears to be 15 pounds overweight, then he'll need like a month to get back into playing shape. When that happens, he'll be able to contribute alot better. But defensively, when he is not injured/coming back from injury, he is a very reliable low post defender. He will be very valuable against both centers and power forwards. When used right, he can be a contributor on the offensive end as well. Even though Mohammed has produced some solid games on the box score, he doesn't do all the little things Kwame does. Kwame is basically know for being a bust, but he is still reliable and still can be a contributor for good teams.
Kwame Brown is servicable, get over it.

Re: Kwame Brown
ive got no beef with kwame. i think it was a great signing for the money. i could care less about his draft history. its wasnt us that drafted him and it wasnt us that overpaid for him a few years ago either. he's much better than diop, so anything that keep diop off the court as much as possible is a blessing.

Exactly. Kwame's a blessing. Would you want Diop playing 18 minutes last night against the Knicks?
Kwame's the bomb.

Actually, I wouldn't mind playing him like Ratliff later this year. Start him, let him play for the first few minutes and perhaps pick up a foul or two, and then sub Nazr or Tyrus in depending on match-up.

He sure does show some hustle out there and really gets after it.
I'm very ok with Kwame too. Him backing up a solid offensive C would be ideal.

The guy is cool as hell out there, even cooler with his recspecs. That alone makes me want him in the game.
