It's the system, of course. I expected Felton to succeed in that fast-tempo offense and he has. If you put DJ on the Knicks instead of Felton, you're probably getting similar results.

Yet they didn't turn the ball over significantly more times than Bobcats usually do.

Re: Off Topic II
So I see that things are a little funky in Memphis right now and that OJ Mayo will be playing off the bench for the foreseeable future:

Can we please inquire about his availablity?
Mayo will play off the bench for the foreseeable future, the Memphis Commercial Appeal" reports.
Recommendation: Mayo has been sent to the bench, and Xavier Henry will start at shooting guard for the Grizzlies going forward. No reason for the switch has been announced yet.

Did you also see the piece on TWill?
Mayo and Thabeet for Jackson works. Also works if we put Kwame in as well

Hell, let's grab Mayo, Williams, and Thabeet. Knowing LB, he'll end up playing Thabeet 40 minutes a game and bench the other two but at least we'll have them for next season.

A guy averaging more shots than points thinks it's OK to show up late for shootaround. Just wow...
Humble yourself.

Did anyone see the Miami-Orlando game?
I've only looked at the box scores but did JJ Redick make D.Wade his bitch?
I certainly hope so.

I didn't watch it but apparently Wade played very badly from what a friend told me. So yea, JJ probably had his way with Wade and made him squeal like a pig.
Happy turkey day to all of the American posters. Going to see family for a few days with an archaic lack of internet access. But, on the bright side, SATELLITE TV and tons of food. Yum.

the fact that it's Memphis has got really excited, if there's one team able to do such a trade, it's the Grizzlies.
From now on I'll be praying for that trade, please Memphis, do it, I know you can !

Re: Off Topic II
First of all WTF about Mayo coming off the bench, i know he's struggling with Gay and Randolph taking 50 shots a game, but demoting him to the bench isn't going to make him play better. T-Will is a straight baller, if Avery has a problem with the kid then he's screwed in the head just like our coach.
Please basketball Gods if we can get Mayo for Jax and even Thabeet then T-Will....that will be all the christmas presents i need....EVER. MJ LET'S DO IT.

No doubt. They don't give out the 120% to just anybody, you know!

DJ - Mayo - T.Will - T2
That would be a hell of a young core to build from!
We'd just need a Roy Hibbert/Greg Monre type C then to round it all out.

We might have a shot at either one, but I doubt we could ever get both. Though, we HAVE built up enough bad luck to be due for something good to happen

Too bad about Brandan Wright, i really like the kid, he could be a special player if he wasn't always injured.

What is you guy's opinion on Miami's delema? Do they need a new coach? Another player? Or are they just set to fail?
Devilzsidewalk wrote:no, the DB's will just be thinking "damn, I thought that was going to be a run!" as they easily recover to intercept a Ponder pass 10 yards off the mark
