OT- Detroit Re-Signs Datsyuk

The Detroit Red Wings announced Friday that they have signed star forward Pavel Datsyuk to a seven-year contract extention.

Sources have told TSN that Datsyuk will earn between $6 and 7 million a season.

There goes one more player to talk about about in the offseason

I heard it was like 47 or 48 million all together. Thats basically a max contract.

I have heard he will make 6.7 million a year and I do not think a player who disappears in the playoffs should be getting that kind of money.
