Week 12: Bengals 10 Jets 26 Final

Post#1 » by Rich Rane » Wed Nov 24, 2010 3:06 pm

Thursday Night Football on Thanksgiving.

Darrelle Revis, an average cornerback? Terrell Owens thinks so.

Adding another layer to a rivalry that started building a year ago, Owens -- evidently stung that Revis once called him a "slouch" -- fired back Tuesday, painting the New York Jets star as a one-year wonder and media creation.

"Just an average corner to me," the Bengals wide receiver told reporters in Cincinnati. "Everybody has assessed his abilities as far as what he did last year, shutdown corner, this and that. He did very well last year. But I think I'm looking forward to the challenge, just like he's looking forward to the challenge."

Revis refused to engage in a war of words with Owens, telling ESPNNewYork.com, "I'll see him on Thursday night. ... Everybody knows T.O. He's going to be T.O."

We need a bloodclaat blowout. Today can be Dec. 25th if the Pats lose to.

nice win.. defense was a force in the second half..

Brad smith game MVP..

We need to get the running game back to full force...

Matt millen and theisman are fools. I hate listenting to them. they were pretty much hating on the jets. Millen the fool said that the bengals should not hang their heads. they played well if not for a few goofy special teams play..LOL.. really? a 90 yard run is goofy? what an idiot.. You win games doing the little things.. convincing win.. defense and special teams....

Just keep winning!

Those two and Bob Papa that freaking Giants homer are unbearable to listen to. No insight, not identifying anything and horrible flow. Papa called Shonn Greene "Cedric Benson" like five times.

The last time I checked special teams are a very important part of the game. Theismann was going on and on how we arent an impressive team and this and that. Look at the record douche. We held the Bengals to 39 yards on 30 plays in the second half. Something like 160 yards overall. I'm sure if the Pats or Steelers did that we would hear all day long how great their defense is and how nobody can beat them blablabla. But hell, I'm fine with all that. Keep disrespecting the Jets, they deliver on the field and Rex sure loves that he can play the us against the world card again.

It was important for the D to get its swagger back going into NE next monday. It will be a fight up there and we gotta play better than we did in the last few weeks. I'm confident though!
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

T.O. talked trash and got stuck on the island. Cromartie did well against 85 too.

Sanchez had a piss poor game, but it was his first dud over the past 4 games. The offense wasn't good but the D and Special Teams picked it up and that's something only good teams can say, that any given week they can have any of their 3 main squads come in and take over the game.

Vernon Gholston had a very good game in limited playing time. He got atleast one QB pressure, blew up a couple of run in the backfields and was strong at the point of attack. I really like what I see from him in recent weeks, he looks like a solid rotation player now and we need those along the defensive line...
