Since when has a jumpshooter have more impact on the game than a slashing tank like Wade? I would take Wade over Bird to start a franchise with. I don't like Wade but his heart and determination is admirable. I see Bird as a Dirk Nowtizki who needs a HELLA LOT of talent to win championships. I just think it's easier to build a winner around Wade than it is Bird in today's game.

That Bird. All he did was take jumpers.

That's right. He didn't even play Gadz tonight. He'd been giving us (and Beans) some good rest minutes. I still say it's the Nellie residual effect (NRE). Kinda like being under the influence. Just when I was starting to feel good about this team and Smart, he goes Nellie on me. Oh WTF. I'm done for the evening.

Its only 15 games. Lets wait to see if Rose keeps up the same sort of production once Booze emerges. So hold the crow for now.

When Booze comes back Derrick's points will drop a little but his escalation in assists will more than make up for it. He is actually a great passer into the post but the rest of the team struggles to make shots consistently.

All our centers and PFs are hurt expect for Biedrins and Gadz and Adrian (a 6'7" PF). So when Biedrins goes to the bench we are going to play either a midget or a small forward at center unless we use Gadz.

Once Lee/Udoh/Amundson aren't in suits, Gadz won't get many minutes.

We have rebounding and defense issues. Gadz is actually a plus on those. We're used to stone hands centers with no offensive ability.... years of Adonal Folye trained us well.
