Sorry but raycroft blows, other than the rookie of the year season he has pretty much been a below average goaltender. His stats this year are not great at all and the only reason he is challenging for the most wins in a season is because the sheer amount of games he has played.Crowned wrote:Raycroft let's one bad goal in, and everyone calls for his head. Let me guess, you all think Huet has been playing great, right? If you don;t know anything about goaltending, please don't comment about goaltenders, thank you.

Like I said before, I've been sticking up for him somewhat all year, but this time he deserves the flack. It's one thing to let in a bad goal (or two, you could argue tonight) - it's another to let in a bad goal in the biggest game of the season, with the playoffs on the line. Not that he's solely to blame, but he has to take his fair share of that blame.

Other than that award season, how many seasons has he started?

The goal was his fault, and that goal hurt momentum. But again, how were the other goals his fault? He seems to get blamed for quite a bit.

The team's down-fall came from the team. They have nobody to blame but themselves. Does the goaltending deserve some heat? Absolutely. I doubt they're just going to be slapping Rayfcroft around in the dressing room. Whether they're holding their heads with shame or kicking themselves; this team has to re-load for the biggest/last period of the season.
If you throw a rock at some blocks they will fall. Obviously the team plays a role but Raycroft is, in this case, the catalyst.

The-Insider: He advised people shouldn't criticize something they don't know much on. We expected better then this from you. Great forums aren't built with comments like these.

Need I look up a definition for irony; shall I find a similar example?
It looks like Huet has a great crowd here
I don't know what your point is. You do know that that second MTL goal was even-strength correct?
BTW, I didnt see the mccabe or wellwood goal so I don't know how much at fault huet was. If he let in a softie like Raycroft, I would certainly say it was his fault.
