Re: Hou/Sac/OKC
Just like the Astros we become that scrappy young team that will be hopefully fun to watch. Harden and Green are both young players with a lot of potential. Green has proven he can score and if moved back into his natural position of SF and in Adelmans system where he can show off his passing skills and handle the ball more I see big things from him as well as Harden. They played with 2 ball dominate players in Westbrook and Durant and never really got to shine. With a group of Lowry, Harden, Green, Scola and Miller you have 5 guys that like to pass and share the ball. plus Green and Harden are more balanced than Martin and Brooks who were strictly offensive guys where as Harden and Green can play D. Udrih would be great coming off the bench and providing offense, size and shooting.

not too sure about that. but with our lineup after that trade we have no playmaker on offense. kmart isnt the greatest but at least he can create a shot for himself. offense would have to run thru scola (which it kinda does anyway). i do like that we give up jeffries but do you think sac wants brooks bad enough to take on jj?

that would be a no brainer for sac regarding jeffries. he is an expiring deal anyway. they get their wish in brooks. i just don't see okc giving up Green.

Yea, No reason for OKC to do this deal. IMO KD and Kevin Martin is redundent. No need for both of them. Plus Jason thompson isn't as good as you make him seem lol.

Re: Hou/Sac/OKC
So we trade our two best wing scorers for udrih(one good year on a sorry team where he had to play better), James harden(still hasn't showed he's worthy of the number 3 pick) and green who got his job stolen from thabo. Lmao @ this trade, and lol at a young "scrappy" team. We have enough scrappy players, we need players who can creat their own shot, block some shots, make wide open 3's and be somewhat athletic.

+1 and we can lose Green to FA as well

Re: Hou/Sac/OKC
first of all, martin adds no significant defense to any team, i have no clue why anyone would think that.
this trade makes houston a lottery team for at least 2 years. and we wont get good draft picks. we trade 2 our best 3 players and a 6mil expiring.
if were gonna trade w/ those teams, we need ibaka, thompson, SAMUEL DALMBERT!!!

and Ibaka would be a keeper for years to come. he is starting to show some O, we all know he has a D. Dalembert is an expiring contract, so we will deal with him when the time comes. Thompson shows great promise on O and D. I'm with you on this.
