Melo's jumper for the win never fails.
Nene was schooling Noah in the first quarter, still not sure why we went away from him. Lawson played well too, just couldn't stay in front of Watson. Not a pretty win, but I'll take it.

Why do we always go away from Nene after the 1st quarter? it is annoying that Nene becomes an after thought 8 minutes into the game, especially on nights like last night when he is dominating those first few minutes.

Agreed. Nene needs to be more assertive and demand the ball. He was 8-9

I am so tired of hearing how Nene needs to be more assertive, it is not going to happen, after 8+ years he is who he is, but that is why we have PGs. Their job is to get the ball to the hot hand, and on nights like he was having against the Bulls, he should have had more touches. It is like when JR or Harrington get hot, they do not have to scream and fight for the ball, why should Nene?

Like you said they have been doing this for 8 years with him. In the first half, he usually puts up some decent stats, and in the 2nd half he generally turns phantom. I would like to see the Nuggets run things through him for an entire game just one time to see what happens. I think the result would be good.

I'm usually pretty hard on Nene but, he was extremely assertive for most of this game. He played a strong 1st quarter but got sent to the bench with 2 fouls. He then got a quick 3rd foul in the 2nd. In the 3rd quarter he was extremely assertive and led us to a 19pt lead before getting hit with a 4th foul.
Nene played hard all game long. It wasn't until he picked up ihs 5th that he went back into passive mode which is understandable.
