Strikeforce - Dec 4

Post#1 » by cowboyronnie » Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:50 pm

Robbie Lawler vs. Matt Lindland
Scott Smith vs. Paul Daley
Roger Gracie vs Mike Kyle
Renato “Babalu” Sobral vs. Dan Henderson (Light Heavyweight Bout)
Antonio “Big Foot’’ Silva vs. Valentijn Overeem

V good card! Lindland vs Lawler is the most exciting, IMO.

SF is getting a little repetitive, that's the thing. The same names - none of them division top 5s - means much less excitement.

no word yet on a replacment. there may not be one at all. that would stink for bigfoot because i think he looked solid in his loss to werdum and he looked really impressive against arlovski.

but it's still a great card.

Let him fight the guy who was supposed to fight Walker.

Awesome card. Daley was a great pickup for Strikeforce. Smith, Noons, and Diaz is a perfect lineup of fights for him.

And I bet Radach is sore as all hell today.

Radech fight should have been stopped in the first IMO.

Dude was doing nothing but turtling up and taking HUGE headshots in the first round for a long period of time. Did he have to actually go out to get it stopped?

Both Babalu and Kyle took extra shots after they were clearly out as well. Not Hendo or Big Foot's fault in either situation but I don't know how the refs didn't stop each of those fights 2 punches earlier..

Scott Smith is just damaging his health irreparably. Lindland too. So many heavy KOs of each guy.

The Radach fight should have been stopped in the first, I agree. I don't understand that ref at all. He was on his belly for ages, "not intelligently defending".

It's turned me off of the sport, I have to say. "You can see the life leave him", as Shamrock put it. I don't want to see that.

Never saw OSP before , would like to see more .

Wasted opportunity for Kyle .

Robbie with the typical high light reel KO

Was pretty sure Hendo would KO Babalu .
