Trade Derozan for CDR (Chris Douglas-Robert)

Post#1 » by Childlike » Sun Nov 28, 2010 4:57 pm

Demar Derozan is good, I personally prefer Sonny, but the guy I really like is CDR. Where Demar lacks in terms of creativity off the dribble, CDR excels. I also think CDR is somewhat better defensively than Demar. Demar certainly has more explosiveness, but it's a little useless if he can't beat his man to actually get to the rim and finish with something nasty.

At comparable talent, I would take CDR, therefore I think BC should make the trade and THEN let the young guys grow together.. Amir, Jerryd, Sonny, Ed, Solomon & Chris...

Isn't CDR a bad teammate/locker room cancer?

Apparently the worst locker room guy in the league. And he's a below average player. I doubt CDR lasts in this league another 2 years.

The Judge Judy thing was funny...

But seriously, he is the superior player between him and Derozan. Stop kidding yourselves.

We need guys that can actually create for themselves in the half-court, Bayless is a step in the right direction, having CDR there will further improve the team's offense. I don't believe all that locker room cancer stuff...

I want my Derozan jersey to be legit for a while.

Besides, CDR was one pick befors us when we took Nate Jawai in '08.

It just isn't meant to be.

I guess I wasn't around when the news spread about CDR being a locker room cancer but I do remember the guy was hella depressed, like my whole family was murdered right in front of my eyes depressed, when New Jersey was terrible last season. He clearly can't take losing. Not a step up coming to Toronto.

I can't believe I'm actually responding but offense is the furthest thing from our problems right now.

CDR is not that good but even if someone thought he was decent, he has no potential to be a star player, so far he's barely been a contributor.

Demar scores slightly more, rebounds better and overall shoots better. Also gets to the line better and hits at a way better clip. CDR shoots better from the field but thats about it. Demars also 2 years younger.

And whether you want to believe the locker room issues or not, the stories are out there.
