Week 12 Start/Sit

Post#1 » by Shady Franchise » Wed Nov 24, 2010 6:54 am

I know this may sound odd, but with the injuries to IND and NYG, thought I'd ask:

which WR for week 12?

S Moss vs MIN
Blair White vs SD
Manningham or Derek Hagan vs JAX

Santana Moss easy.

Pierre Garcon or Nate Burleson?

"Nate Burleson vs. Patriots (Thurs.): Burleson has recorded a combined 25 receptions in his last four games, so he's clearly a major part of the Lions pass attack. As a result, owners should consider him an attractive No. 3 fantasy wideout against the Patriots -- their defense has allowed the seventh-most points to wide receivers." -NFL.com

"Pierre Garcon vs. Chargers: Injuries and a lack of end-zone visits have turned Garcon into an unreliable option for fantasy owners, and this week's matchup against the Chargers makes him an even greater risk. The Bolts have surrendered a mere four touchdown catches and an average of just 13.1 fantasy points per game to wideouts." -NFL.com

I agree with Shady, Garcon has been anything but reliable this year. I would start blair white over him if I had both.

I would go Maclin and Carolina. For all they have sucked, the Carolina secondary is still respectable, and I refuse to trust Derek Anderson in any respect of football, even if the Chicago D is great.

Yeah I traded for Larry Fitz midseason and he's done pretty good for me. But it has been tooth and nail points. I mean he got a garbage TD last week to make it a somewhat respectable week. Maclin has been good and Eagles O has been clicking.

I would go Blount and Williams. Don't trust Turner against the Gb defense, and the Ravens have been gashed by running backs this year (see Peyton Hillis and Goodson last week)

My team got 153 points this week and secured a playoff birth even tho Manning threw 4 picks. Thanks Real GM!
