Do you guys want Aldridge? We'll give him up for anything...

It was good that Avery got Favors so many minutes while he was playing well and this win will be sure to help our lotto positioning when we're below .500 in April...

Are you kidding me? LA for pennies on the dollar would be better than Humpfries at PF.

Murphy looked good, but there really is no minutes for him in the rotation.
Favors is ready to start or get significant minutes, but Humphries is just too dominant right now.
Lopez with 13 points on 4-8 shooting, not dominant.
Harris had a great game.
Farmar was Farmar.
Outlaw sucked.
Morrow shows a lot of promise regarding expansion of his game.

True, but Aldridge would hinder Favors growth even more than Humphries.

I would certainly take LMA if it was a steal of a deal.

Opens up a ton of possibilities. It isn't a stretch to say you could start him alongside Favors and move Brook in a separate trade if the likes of a Chris Paul or Deron Williams became available.

Fair enough. I don't blame you for not wanting him after he played like he did today especially haha.

Humphries at $3m per year, vs. LMA at 13m per year.

Hmmmm....

Also, LMA is a jump shooting big man.. not the compliment we need next to Lopez as we have learned from both Yi and Murphy. We needs someone who can defend, rebound and finish around the rim.. Hump and Favors fit the bill.

....this is an epic win coming from Boston and Philly...talk about stopping the bleeding and going into NY on the right foot...how fast we forget last year...and YES throwing up that close game stat, is there for a reason...Its no secret this team trying to learn how to finish games...If this is boring, you're missing a lot as a Nets fan...

I'm assuming your losing your Nets fan Mojo... :blank:

It was certainly a benchmark win, but the game itself seemed to grind.
Still entertaining and of course appreciated after last season, but it didn't have much flow to it, especially through the first 2 and a half quarters.

I gotchu, without a doubt almost every game...
(my epic statement was an exaggeration, despite our first win vs the Blazers since 2007...)
But big picture here, thats all I am saying...its all about Ws, I dont pay to watch Nets game hoping for flowing entertaining basketball (though there was enough plays from Humps blocks to a couple nice dunks that got me going)...I'm looking for progress, execution and fingers crossed we're close in the 4th hopefully leading where we finish the game strong closing out the opposition...
