Good solid win again but something needs to be done about poor starts. Its a chronic problem!
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

How do we win rebounding so poorly? Blake Griffin on the Jazz would be scary good.

Our turnovers are incredibly low of late. Check out our last 10 games, not in thcluding the Clippers game:
Utah: 11.7 per game (2nd lowest in the NBA)
Differential: -2.9 (2nd biggest in the NBA)
Think of it like this, that three turnover difference makes up for like 3-4 more points in our favor.
We also have the #1 defense in the NBA over the last 10, with the lowest opponent FG and 3PT %s over this our last 10, and we have a lot of deflections between blocks and steals, and like I said that turnover differential.
Add to this our very efficient offense, so it makes up for the lack of rebounds. Don't forget that our opponents are really just getting more offensive rebounds, when your bigs go out to defend they can't focus on boxing so much, so we lose out on the opportunity to gather those boards, but those boards don't mean anything if every other play we're not playing defense.

Just want to echo all the Elson love. I really thought he was an afterthought to the offseason, a guy to sit on the bench in case someone got hurt. He's much, much more than I expected him to be.

I never understood why people mocked and hated the signing so much.
It's a great luxury having a guy like Elson coming off the bench. He's a stabilizing force, plays with great energy, and makes very few mistakes.

30 points? Nice try...

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Why did Jefferson sit most of the 4th quarter? Was it just because Elson was playing well? I was hoping to see a post game interview with him. But I think this is only the second time he didn't finish the game, and last time it was because he wasn't running the plays. Wonder if it had anything to do with his rebounding or if it had nothing to do with him and everything to do with Elson.

Another interesting part... Sloan benched Milsap and Jefferson for a good portion of the 4th.
It's gonna get crazy when Okur comes back..Sloan has all kinds of options.

I kind of wish that he would have sat Deron for the 4th too. He has played crazy minutes so far this season. I think it had more to do with resting Jefferson, since he has played a lot of minutes as well.

I think a lot of Deron playing had to do with Price being tossed so early.
As far as our poor rebounding goes, we definitely need to improve, but we are also playing more zone this year which is notorious for giving up O rebounds for two reasons.
1. You aren't defending a specific man to box out.
2. It encourages the other team to shoot 3's which give out long rebounds.
