I think Miami is underrated. That Heat/Cavs game coming up (12/2) is must see pie.

I wouldn't call them underrated but they're definitely struggling and, honestly, I don't think it'll change this year.

They've lost Haslem for the season, who was their only decent rebounder, and Miller will probably need time to get back to form whenever he comes back. Their bench is currently thinner then ours, their big 3 are struggling to gel and they don't have any decent trade pieces to make improvements. I guess it kind of sucks for them, although I don't feel sorry for them after the circus that was this summer.

Kevlar: Leading league in offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, rebounds per 48. If you didn't figure it out already, he's also leading the NBA in rebounds per game.

The Golden Darkness: 7th in steals and 2nd in steals per 48 (**** you CP3). I call him The Golden Darkness after I read this little piece on SI.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/luke_winn/11/22/power.rankings/index.html

In lieu of commenting on Gator massacres, I offer this nugget: While walking through the Gators' locker room this August, I got to see a fine white-board caricature of Corey Brewer, drawn by reserve guard Brett Swanson. It was headlined "The Drunken Dribbler," Brewer's nickname, and it depicted him handling the ball in typical wild fashion. It was also labeled with his lesser-known, auxiliary nickname, "The Golden Darkness." I'm told that's an ode to the Rick James True Hollywood Story on Chappelle's Show, in which Charlie Murphy -- who bears a faint resemblance to Brewer -- goes by Darkness.

Milicic: Leads the lead in BPG and BP48

MIB: 16th PPG and 8th in PP48

Blake Griffin's potential is scary. I thought the Clippers would improve this year, solid looking starting line-up at the beginning of the year. Davis-Gordon-Kaman-Gomes-Griffin. Okay, take out Gomes and it's solid.

Baron is out of shape and Kaman always stood out at posting great numbers on garbage teams and on top of that both are injury prone. Not exactly the players that help your team winning.

Baron's shown he can create magic on a consistent basis when he's injury free though, you can't argue with his numbers at Golden State/New Orleans. Last year or two he's fallen off slightly but he's still a very good player. As for Kaman, I suppose but there's that many poor center's in the NBA these days it kinda makes him look good.

Baron has checked out at this point in his career. They're better off continuing to develop Bledsoe.

Nobody should feel sorry Miami, they've got 2 of the best 5 players in the league. And that's exactly why you should expect them to turn it around.

Honestly, Baron Davis is done these days. Forget about him. Even in his NOH, GSW days he was always an inefficient scorer. Now it has gotten even worse. Seriously, if I was a Clippers coach I would just try to get the max out of Bledsoe and forget about Baron.

Anyway, I'm kinda glad that Miami is sucking balls right now.

SHowardCooper Scott Howard-Cooper
More issues for immature DeMarcus Cousins. Per @mr_jasonjones, Paul Westphal boots Cousins from practice. Westphal does not say why.

Rest of the league is not surprised. Some execs/scouts torched Cousins to me recently. Said one: “I wouldn’t want to coach him."

As much as I don't like the Heat, I don't want to rip on them too much because we've got a lot of cool Heat posters here. Think they'd mind if I just ripped on LBJ?

I think Memphis is very underrated. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs especially when teams like Portland, Denver, and Phoenix have such big question marks. That by the way would result in Minnesota getting the Memphis pick in 2011.

I picked Memphis in the playoffs. Might be worth bumping the western conference predictions thread to get an update.

I don't think I restated it here, but on the general board I picked the Clippers for fewest wins in the league. Looks like a possibility.

Turner has scored 7 points in his last four games shooting 2-14 in that time. Truly abysmal.

Gay with six blocks and best of all, Marc beat his brother LOL!

Rudy is a better player than I thought he was it seems and I always thought he was good.

Yea man that is surprising. Imagine if we had won the 2nd pick, drafted Turner and he wound up being a bust. You know how devastated we would be? LOL. Not declaring him a bust or anything but that would be tragically typical for us wolves fans.

I wanted him so bad the year we got Foye...
