After asking for that much money, and length, Jeter needs to retire. I didn't think he was that type of person. He's got to be legally insane.

Jeter's agent is coming out and saying the 150 mil 25/yr demand was inaccurate.

As a Red Sox fan I'd throw him an offer just to drive up the price. Hell, why not?

Apparently this is causing an uproar in NY.

I can understand the NY area's relationship with Jeter.....but can the Yankees really be faulted in the numbers?

The tact used is less than artful, but Jeter's continuing decline as a middle infielder is imminent given his age.

Its strange, most Yankees fans disagree with Jeter yet the media heads around town seem to be siding with him.
