The game was just dull from the beggining, typical Devils brand of hockey.

And what's with all these bitter Raps fans with the Leaf hate? Is there NOT room for 2 pro-sports franchises in this city? Get over yourselves.

Most of us have learned to deal with it. The comments are quite common on RealGM for whatever reason.

As a fan of both teams (as I'm sure most of us are) I understand why a raps fan would get tired of the ENDLESS coverage the Toronto media gives to the leafs...365 days a year.

But it does get really, really tiresome to keep having to read all these stupid, worthless comments.

I watched the game at the Ice Box at the ACC and a lot of Raptor fans were cheering for the Islanders.

It isn't just realgm-exclusive and I find it pretty stupid.

Well think about it, for 60+ years up until Toronto got the Blue Jays, the NHL was the only professional sport in town. Of course they're going to be attached to it

Wow, i missed the game as i was working all day but I'd be heart-broken if I had to witness the demise of the Leafs in a shootout, especially after the recent highs of a leaf win on saturday and that goal with a second left in this game. NYI deserve it though, they lost their starting goalie and were still able to finish the season 4-0 and squeak into the playoffs. Kudos to Nolan and Snow for taking a laughing stock team and turning them into a playoff team.

Return to Toronto Maple Leafs
