OT - Vikings to LA?

I would hate to see them move because I love hating them, and I have a few close friends who are die-hards.

That said, its funny as ****, and what can they expect when they can hardly sell out a playoff game? (2008).

While it would be funny to make fun of in some respects, I hope it doesn't happen. It's way more fun beating them in Minnesota, and I think we have a stranglehold of this rivalry in the short-term. They have no QB.

I have always had a feeling the Vikings would go to L.A. and the Rams would join the NFC North. It would suck to lose such a heated rival, so I wouldn't be in favor of this happening. But yeah it would be pretty funny.

At least divisions would make more sense then. Los Angeles moves to the NFC West, Rams move to the NFC North.

Im surprised Jacksonville isn't in the discussion more. No one cares about them. I LOL every time I remember that city actually hosted a Super Bowl. What a disaster.

Would absolutely hate this. Maybe more than the Bucks moving, as sick as that sounds.

As someone who lived in Seattle growing up and has Seattle teams as my secondary I know how crushed I was when the Sonics were stolen away from Seattle. I would never wish that on any fan base and hope this doesn't happen to them.

I would hate this, but I do find it bordering on funny. And what can you say? They can't get a new stadium, as annoying as the fan base is they really do struggle to stay afloat, and a move to LA just makes a lot of sense (that new stadium is going to be **** unbelievable, BTW). Like I said, I would hate this, but I think it's going to happen.

I'll be making a return trip to LA once that bad boy is up and running.

Yeah, I agree. I thought the Packers had it perfect in rivals. An old-school tough-nosed out-door rival that is a franchise similar to ours in terms of history; and then a new-age team that became rivals because they are our antagonist. They are an indoor team that steals our players. Detroit is the lovable younger brother.

I'd be kinda pissed if STL joined our division, they are up and coming IMO.

Then it wouldn't take long to start to hate them.

It would be a real bummer if the Vikings moved to LA for me at least, i so greatly enjoy the torment that the team brings to fans of Minnesota.

Would the Minnesota fans still be fans of that team or would they start rooting for a new team, because I sure as hell don't want them to start rooting for the Packers just because it's the closest team.

It would take awhile. I wouldn't root for the Bulls if the Bucks moved. I would lose a lot of interest in the NBA and be more of a free agent fan rooting for teams with young talent like OKC. However, people younger than me would be Bulls fans.

They can root for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. It's not the closest team, but the name fits for them. :D
