while you guys are at it, just give us Yao Ming and Kevin Martin. You guys can have any player on this team!

how about this trade?

Wilson Chandler
Eddy Curry

for

Iguodala
Andres Nocioni
1st round pick(lottery protected for all 5 years, then becomes a second round pick)

Do the Sixers feel the need to clear the cap right now opposed to in 2-3 years. by that time I imagine Turner and Holiday will both sign big extensions, therefore negating Brand, Iggy and Lou Will coming off the books. This trade clears up 20 million this summer while the Sixers stud young players are still on rookie contracts. With 24 million in cap room the Sixers can maximize their talent base and sign RFA's and URFA's to reasonable contracts this summer to compliment Turner and Holiday.

just wondering why does Chandler not have that much value around the league? I'd like to hear a non knicks fans perspective than looking at it from my knick tinted glasses. If the Knicks make the playoffs he should win 6th man of the year. His numbers look really good, better than Iggy so far, Wilson is averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. he plays on both ends of the floor and he can play 3 positions. in fact he lead all shooting guards in fg% last year according to espn statistics and he's doing a great job filling in at PF while Ronny is out. I think he's averaging 23ppg as a starter. if the knicks are winning shouldn't his value go up?

I guess Iggy to CLE is a possibility, but this is crap reporting.

"No active dialogue" but "a source said....keep your eye on".

"Iggy would fit well in Scott's Princeton O". Like last year.

"Sixers don't appear to be a playoff team". Only 2.5 out of the 8th seed, 1.5 behind CLE.

Never mentions who CLE may have to give up in the deal.

God, I really, really miss Phil Jasner.

Dear God, Now that Phil is with you. Can you let him have a little pull with what goes on with the SIxers and maybe he can perform a miracle and get us a good trade. Just let Phil help us with this time of need. Let him take over the SIxers area of Heaven. Maybe with him up there manning the Sixers from above we might have a turn of good luck. Maybe this was Phils calling.

Get GTFO. It eats into our cap. I'll only do it once we acquire a first or second option. Iggy can then be our third option on the team.

Suns are looking for a PF.

And they've also been eyeing Iggy for a long time.

I don't know what deal can be made between our two teams that both fan-bases will like however.

Richardson's expiring for Iguodala straight up? You guys might say "no we want more for Iggy", we might say "actually Rich is our 2nd best player right now and we need his shooting".

Richardson for Brand? I think you guys would go for it since it's an expiring(who is playing like an all star) for Brand, but we probably wouldn't because of his contract and the fact that he might not be a good fit.

Brand and Iggy for Rich and Hedo?

Should I start ducking and running right now?

Yes, please start running. At least put the stuff in the Fantasy Trade thread if you want to fleece us in the future.

The second most important reason for moving Iguodala is to free up room for Turner and Meeks to get playing time. Adding Hedo and Richardson just make that harder.

Also, the only player on the team that we would have any interest in is Robin Lopez.

Gotcha, sounds like my deal was turrible.

What if we gave you Richardson's expiring for Brand and then you bought Richardson out? Takes Brand's contract off your hands completely, and then nobody is blocking Turner and Meeks except for Iguodala.

I would love to get rid of Brand's contract...but unfortunately that would mean we have Battie, Hawes and Speights left playing down low. Big disaster for us.

We'd do that in a heartbeat, but I don't see Phoenix touching it.

I would. Maybe add protected pick or 2nd rounder or something. Brand would expire about the same time as the rest of the team and they are in desperate need of a PF.

Well the buyout would serve for us getting him back in a wink/wink sort of way.

For as bad as Brand's contract as been, he's still been a force this year and probably our best all-around player. Trading him and getting nothing but freeing ourselves of his contract would not be in our best interest. Our frontcourt would be deadly thin.
